It's an ok platformer but really just another silhouette platformer. I don't know when that trend started so maybe this was fresh in 2012. The major problem is the lack of light from the lantern. I died several times simply because I couldn't see or because an obvious platform was a background object. As for the story, I have no investment in the girl. I don't know if there is supposed to be something meaningful about the fact that I can't get back up to her. I went to find my magic acorn and then for some reason put it down on a different tree and now it grows acorns. Ok...

wow... you realise that the girl never manages to catch a glimpse of the boy? you can't jump back either. so it's a love from afar? that's kind of sad.

So, what you're saying is, all he really had to do was walk left one screen to find the acorn. Taking the scenic route, I guess. Great game.

This was an excellent game. The music was lovely. Pretty artwork. I would definitely recommend this game to other people.

It was a cute game. It's sad they never meet up. May I suggest that a bouncy plant grow and let him back up as a final 'cutscene' motion, after the credits finish rolling?

Something that was really bugging me in this game was. When the music were to change when you got to a new zone. Other then that, this was a pretty good game. Would like to see a follow up on it!

And the girl stood there staring as the boy tried to escape the pit. Eventually exhaustion from his frenzied leaps took over and he collapse. The boy never left that pit.

This was such a beautifully made whimsical game. It's far to easy and the mechanics are simple so you can't expect really serious gamers to be into it, but if I were to do something like, I don't know, propose to someone, I'd do it the way the intro was made, and I'd have a ring fall on the end instead of an acorn. This was really lovely.
