I was going to take away a star for being unnecessarily long and tedious, but I'm adding it back for the reverse maze being different from the forward one (and also, being able to get a score while being completely pacifist!)

good 4/5
but! a bug(?) found: when entering in a new room from the one direction to the opposite and holding the direction button, during scaling, the player-square can penetrate thru the next wall immediately, even if there no hole for it

very easy rating for me 5/5 ^_^ love the graphics only a small issue and that is i am not good with the keyboard so some of the enemies were annoying

Kudos to the dev for being able to get to the end of the game right from the start, LOL never saw that happen before. Sneaky bastard.

I love this! It's so creative and there's such an interesting perspective! It is really rare to get new and fascinating games like this, and in 48 hours? I tip my hat to you, GlaielGamer.

Man that backwards to the end thing sure helps out for the medium badge. The wall things are difficult to deal with in a game where you can't aim and walk

I'm having the same problem as del711332. Once I click play a credits screen pops up and the game freezes. Have tried in both IE and Chrome. I don't usually experience playability issues on Kong.

Game isn't loading correctly. I get the screen wherein the creator takes credit but can't do anything from there. Nothing clickable keys do nothing.

Love it. I think the graphics work perfectly for the game and fancier graphics wouldn't make the game feel the same. This reminds me of games on the Atari 2600, I was ready to pop out of a door and encounter that stupid dragon. Great game, bit of a challenge and really interesting concept. If this is what you can make in 48 hours I really want to see what you can make when given more time.

Great game! Some of the enemy placement needed some work, and that end boss was really... pointless. But since the concept and the overall design was really fun, those picks didn't break the game nor the fun.

starting to wonder just how many hits that last boss needs, until I realize he's apparently nearly covered in spikes that give him armor, and then shortly thereafter I died. Here I go once more. ;o)

The fractal maze idea is fun, but the end boss lets the game down. The only reason I didn't give up running around and shooting it is that convention dictates that that's what you do with an end boss - but the same convention also dictates that there should be a power bar or progress meter showing how close it is to dying.

To quickly beat the game and get 15 free points, get the gun and go allll the way back out, and further out the title screen until you reach the final room and beat the boss.

I love the hidden hard mode... I just wish there was a way to do it without taking damage before getting the gun. Seems like it's currently impossible...

I love the concept and challenge of this game. It's short, but fun. I'd love to play a longer version of this game with many more rooms!

Once I realized it was immediate play and no intro, and keyboard control but no mouse, i liked this game a lot. It's simple but it's fun zooming into the next section. I also like that it was truly a maze and sometimes made me go back out to an earlier layer. Very nice.

#EmpressCrane this is made in 2012, it's not new. As for the volume, I just use the volume mixer with sliders and change adobe flash player volume.
