If you move towards the edge in the beginning, you end up moving outwards into the boss fight. Which means the developer considered the possibility of someone trying to do exactly that. Nice touch.

After finishing it once I refreshed, and this time went backward through the levels from the start screen, the enemies were harder and I had to navigate backwards to the start to get a gun and then try to finish the harder version with reduced life. I like that you put that in for an extra challenge :) then I realised I could do the same thing but once I had the gun keep going back, to the start, and then back to the end (if that makes sense) for an easier version of the challenge :P

you can keep going farther after completion of the game, so when you hit enter to restart it will go through the world as many times as you did, allowing for a colorful and lengthy reset. ;-)

The funny thing is that the layers loop, therefore you can get the gun go outside and reach the boss without any difficulty. \o/
Other than that, amazing concept you got there, really creative.

This game is amazing! The concept is extremely innovative, and the graphics are appropriate like this. They would look bad if they were less pixelated.

he must be going down climbing into/ falling into new floors into the earths crust getting to the "BOTTOM" of this place, i give this game a 50+/50 for the idea, the newest pixel installment! *Genius meme*.

Great game, Awesome concept.
The only thing that is imo a real problem is that like in 3-4 spots or so some of the enemys can shoot into the next plane. This makes it annoying sometimes.

The boss is covered in spikes that protect it, you will find the sides have a spot where there aren't any spikes, that is where you hit him.
Quite a nice game 5/5

i would like a sort of map feature. one where you can go bock out through the levels. there are many times i've gone "ok i found the part i need to get to. now where was i going?"

got all the way to the boss collected all coins without the gun... had no idea what to do at that point.. died and realised i mised gun at beginning -.- like a fool!

Really amazing idea you had there. Sometimes I had the feeling to be lost in some kind of loophole or so. And when fighting those large enemys I thought I would play a crappy rip off of Touhou, what I enjoyed a lot.

I would like to see you add high score access for overall score and time completed. Some toggle buttons for the music and sfx would be fantastic. But I am impressed that this was a 48 hr game. Goes to show sometimes the best concepts are simple.

lol, if you cheat and back out all the way at the beginning, it spawns you at the last room. problem is, you have no gun and everything shoots twice as much now

Wow I won on my 2nd attempt with just 3 pixels of my last life left! However, I only seemed to do damage to the boss occasionally and I couldn't hurt him from outside of the last level. What were the criteria for causing damage?

died, got back to the start screen...proceeded to go back as far as i could to see if there was a secret bonus thingy or something... :( no
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I found a secret! At the start if instead of going forwards you go backwards then after a while you'll find the end, then keep backing up and you'll be at the end of the maze, like Inception! I love this game!!! Click the plus button so that everyone can know!

Sometimes, people ask me why I play flash games rather than "serious" games. This is why. A flash games last, on average, maybe 30 minutes. And during these 30 minutes you will discover each time a new universe, a new way of thinking. This game is a perfect example. You would not make a 12 hours long game with this concept; yet the 30 minutes that you will spend on this game will be really nice.
