If your humans and your enemy is an orc fortress,it might be tricky, but depending on what they have you should choose:If they have mostly warriors and light towers, choose mostly archers, knights to fend the warriors off and catapults to finish the light towers! That would do the trick

Odd, during one fight where the enemy attacked me, they all held position and let my archers and catapults pin cushion them.

needs upgrades for units. For example: knights shields can upgrade for better defence and helmets for more health and swords for better damage PLUS if you want this to happen!

It would be great if there was an enemy of all races as a rebellion and they could be the neutral and claim the land with a white hexagon or another color.

A awesome tip for when you are in the human Cmpaign:When you are fighting with any enemy with only melee soldiers(the ones that you can just buy without buying any special place like archer, magic tree, ect.) you can send only 2 or 1 battle sprite and comand it to go over a rock or bush(it should look like the battle sprite is hovering over the rock or bush). The melee enemy won't be able to reach the battle sprite since it's flying and hovering over a rock or bush. The result would be the battle sprite killing all melee soldiers with just one battle sprite! Even though is time consuming.

No the dwaft orc thing is right. There is always a huge orc army that is kinda weak (individually) and a smaller but tougher dwarf army. Single units of the orcs generally suck, but it's there numbers, like in Lord of the Rings, that counts, where as the dwarves are tough, but there aren't as many

there is something wrong ....orcs are weak and the dwarfs are strong??? since when dwarfs became stronger than orcs? it's the opposit... nvm.. good game

alright. major flaw. i was playing against orcs and dwarves. obviously. okay. we're all three pretty much near one spot together and fight for control. then when i took it, they sent 3-4 people at a time no biggie. but the dwarves had more spaces behind them and took it, got more gold w/e but the thing is. he has a powerful defender, his basic light tower and strongest tower on top of a fireball spell. i've attacked literally 8527389746273486 times with full armies ranging from everything to melee, ranged, sprites, and catapults. nothing works. it's a standstill and he can have 0 in his base and i still lose. either my game glitched for some odd reason, or i'm a terrible ******* player. YOU CHOOSE.

@dodo9789: you gave this game a 3/5 because you couldn't take a base? that's pathetic. what about all the good things about this game, does that one flaw cancel out all of the good parts of the game? look at the game from all views. i gave this game a 5/5.

the AI needs a fix... you have to make them target the units FIRST and THEN the buildings, not randomly... ive had several battles where i couldve won if my archers didnt start shooting at a tower, but had picked away the units and THEN they couldve taken out the towers easily :/ else a great game, but still needs stuff that people have allready said... Upgradable units, storyline and such stuff, it makes it boring just to do missions without anything to really change the gameplay... 3/5

Well, i'm through with my Fog Of War idea, most of the campaign maps aren't really big enough and the routes the AI take are reasonably liner and seem to be determined by the tiles available, though not exclusively (like when they attack neutral two hardest tower tile repeatedly to no avail). Also, in the dwarve campaign, one or two of the last few levels i had to replay more than once because i was beaten by the orcs & humans, Fog Of War wouldn't have a place in defensive situations like this because you wouldn't not be at the extremities of all your territory anyway (dying slowly against two AI) adjacent to all their tiles.

lol as dwarf it is littary imposable to take a base if it has all upgrades and is backed with humans. 3 full armies of dragons didnt do it :( prehapse make it possable and it will be more than a 3/5

Spare a thought for the neutral gem mine , because its not given to you on a plate now, once you have it you've won but you have to find it first, and if the Orcs have it you'll see its green in the shrowd as you already scouted the tile but you've no idea how strong it is!!

The hexagon map loads, you spot your two enemies spawn points, have a quick look at neutrals, and subconciously begin working out what you have to do take hexagons and the path your going to take, its easy because you can see the whole map and the route the AI takes so you can plan the right tile composition in advance, Fog Of War where tiles you have already discovered but lost or abandond aren't black like adjacent to where your start would be, but shrowded, with only adjacent tiles fully visible might eliminate that and would force you to think more tactically. Imagine playing a big map where this was true and you knew the Orcs had a better economy , more territory and bigger army but you can't sneak in the back door and take the waste ground, you'd have to try and keep forward hexes scouted at the same time as build up against a numerically superior enemy, maybe even a specific unit per race just for that and move two each turn instead of one.

May i make a suggestion at what could work for this game on the hexagon screen. Fog Of War. Controversial and unorthodox suggestion i'm aware of that (and probably far too unpopular to implement after a games already released) but probably a comparitively easy addition to do where positives could potentially outweigh negatives. Please, sit with me, and mull over implications together. Lets start by asking what makes this great game easy?
