Upon yet another playthrough of the game, I located an interesting bug. If you attack someone and the menu for Battle or Auto Resolve is up, you can press enter to go to the next month while in the menu. This means that you can do some weird tactics with that in mind.

This game has plenty of potential, too bad there's no more work being done on it. I would've personally liked it if you could edit maps, choose your race, upgrade units(and a whole bunch of people agree with that), demolish buildings, upgrade buildings, choose which race can appear where, and for each race, have a passive/aggressive perk for each one. For instance, Orcs will have Berserk, sending them into a rage that'll trample everything for 10 or so seconds. Humans will have some power(idrk, I'm not THAT creative), etc. Maybe even diplomacy so you could have a "passive" win. Lots of potential, but that'll not happen for a long time...

creeperlunatic The catapults are beast against the Orchish Archers. With them, I can stand against 2-3 full Orc armies with my one army.

I absolutely love the game. And I have for years. Although I do think there should be upgrades that include more levels, more races, an upgrading system, bigger maps, more challenging AI, etc. Or they could make these improvements on a second version of the game because this game has wonderful potential. I literally spent a week of my life making the final version of a board game based on this idea. I wish more could be done with this...

DEMONS ARE BEAST THEIR RANGE IS UNBEATABLE AND THEY ARE CHEEP MAX DEMONS AND YOU CAN WIN AGAINST ANYTHING THAT MAY ATTACK YOU!!!!

They need to make the AI better with the armies. The armies should make towers there last priority instead of making them attack the closest threat. Its one reason the armies are constantly losing when they stop to fight the towers instead of say a band or 2 of archers behind the towers that pick them off.

It is a good game, but the AI is hopeless. In the beginning of each of campaign, it attacks neutral territories with few units. Even when it should be obviusly that the attack will fail. As player you save units/money for one or more turns, before you attack a strong neutral territorie.

If they ever make a sequel of this game, I want the neutral people to have NEW units. Like ogres or something. Something that makes them neutral instead of just being a mix of dwarf, human and/or orc. Idk maybe bandits or something?

I don't remember it correctly but is it Orcs are cheap but weak, humans are balanced, and dwarves are strong but expensive?

Very good game. I think there should be a sequel, and if there is one made, then I think a multiplayer feature would be nice, and also giving catapults better aim, because their aim right now... Is not very accurate, to say the least. Overall, I think this is a good game and would like to see a sequel! Maybe a Ultimate War 2...

can you do a second game like this??? Also dwarf is the only race that has a tier 4 unit that is not garbage. And also make another race like elf or undead.

"Difficulty" is just the capacity of the AI to give itself free units it seems.
Up to the point where I can pin down the orcs to a 2-region space for a decade yet they can still afford to always have a full supply of units, even if they invade me with a full army every month.

From whOrcsat I have played (a lot) I have seen a few things. 1: Opponents often under-raid heavily armed regions like strong forts. 2: Garbage accuracy of catapults, realistic, but less awesome. 3: Orcs tend to have a balls-hard time taking down unmanned strong forts and buffed castles. 4, the most upsetting: The occasional mutiny of half my army not moving a finger, especially when raiding the aforementioned strong forts. Still love, 5/5, would recommend to a friend :)

Also, is it possible to slow down the speed of a battle? It seems like there isn't a lot of time to really control units.

I like this game a lot! The only criticism I have is that it seems like you can beat the orcs with the humans by spamming archers. The Knights just die, and die, and die.

to: Gaiking "saving during a mission would be really nice" you can do that, the auto save is the one that saves after a mission. the six save slots above are for the middle of levels.

to immortal7777 use other units in this case like gargolys they work better than dragons anyway... the thunder tower is most effectiv against dragons since it hits a single unit very hard but smaller units maybe in 1 hit but slowly picks each unit
