This game is pretty punishing. It's a LONG way to travel to the X, and even with a maxed out ship, a bit too easy to accidentally turn too far and lose your run. Plus, there simply aren't enough upgrades available. Maybe if your progress kept between launches this distance wouldn't be too bad, but as it stands, it's too far to go in one run. (Mind you, I did it in 33 days even w/o a maxed out ship, but there were a lot of runs that SHOULD have gone a lot further.)

Fully upgraded and giving up... treasure shmeashure I say! I've already purchased 4 pirates of me own! Blow the man down, Blow the man down... *ahem* maybe that sailor song doesn't fit well there lol

Why, with even a maxed out wheel upgrade, does this game's controls behave like some of the worst motocross games on this site? Rotation is slow to start and out of control once it gets going. To hell with the obstacles the developer bothered to put in the game like islands and sharks; they barely slow me. It's the poor controls that sink me every time.

wooh i finally made it too the X i felt like that took 5 or more minutes and i have a headache from starring at the computer screen adjusting my ship every 2 seconds but it was a great game

If the entire point of having a ship with a hull is to lower the centre of balance and stabilise the vessel, why is my centre of balance halfway up the mast?

It would be a decent game if I didn't have to steer the pirate. Let me rephrase that. It would be a decent game IF my stupid pirate didn't spin around like a drunk.

The steering is BULLSHIT. Going perfect and suddently the ship is completely looking down 1s before entering water and u can do nothing, even if you are 100m away from the X.
