But since no-one knows the person who wrote it, personally, and can ask them, that's up for debate. All of our guesses are equally as educated. (unless you haven't read it, i suppose.)

All the work which was put into this game barely outweighs the stupidity of the minigames, which made me give Vorango a 3/5 instead of giving it a 5/5 note and including it into my favourite games collection.

Amazing artwork, voice acting and story line. After all that I still only gave you 2 stars. The mini games in my opinion take away from the game, and an option to skip them after trying several times was not given. (second try at this game, and after an hour of trying to kill the creatures at the pharmacy, I give up and won't try again) I did think the voice acting incredible (the bickering between the husband and wife right on the mark) .... I prefer the option to play without sound and this wasn't an option either.

To be honest, I didn't think much of this game. I will admit that the unexpected plot turns and the overall artwork were good, yet I felt that the game itself was based upon misunderstanding.
The book that was the reference for this is called the book of Revelation, not revelations. In addition to that, the events described are from a period of time, which is actually close at hand, called the Great Tribulation. This period of time is explicitly described as the worst time in human history.
Along with that, the strange beings aren't literal beings. They are symbolic of something else. As a matter of fact, I saw a video that explain a theory that the locusts are actually helicopters, since the writer of Revelation lived almost 2000 years ago and would have had no idea how to describe modern machinery.

got into it. personally i thought it was great the story and all.had some challenge and got a little flustered but got through it all in the end. so over all i would like to see another piece added to this to make a small series of games spectacular job though 10/10

The game started automatically before we click the skip button of the Advertisement while loading. Some of the opening scene will missing if not click the Advertisement skip button ASAP.

Oh and I really expected that something would be made of Seth's eyes glowing yellow, just like the monsters'. If it's nothing then you should change the visual effect. Also, why didn't Jonathan just commit suicide instead of making Ira do it? The guy in the office did.

Really good atmosphere, good art, good characters, and decent story. It's not totally original, but it's a good adaptation. The minigames were very out of place though. Worst is the shooting section. You give me a two shot shotgun then put 4-6 enemies coming at me at once. They fly off screen and the only chance to hit multiples is right before I get hit. Then it seemed like I had to shoot a particular part of the split zombie. So was Seth right that it was the end times, or was he just crazy? The flashback was really sad, particularly the frame of the little girl smiling as she tossed the ball in the air. She looked adorable and I knew what was coming even before the next frame.

Artwork and voices are good. Story, well... chaotic? Seems to me as if someone had a great concept with many possibilities at the beginning and then gave up. I mean, daughters death? Crazy maniac? Dark path in the woods? Mysterious Eggs? It might heve been such an amazing story with some awesome plot twist and instead we get this. So unambitious. And these irritating minigames? I personally play such games to enjoy the story not to scream in anger and frustration because some damn toy car exploded again.

I'm surprised this isn't higher rated. Along with some awesome gameplay the storyline was really moving. I LOVE THIS GAME

Most stupid things in the game (although I find it awesome, there are some things that make me rage):1) there are no saves,so if I quit the game,I gotta start from the beginning.2)Sometimes,if I miss an item(ESPECIALLY THE SUPER SMALL ONES!),I might get in a situation that I cannot escape and I gotta restart to the beginning, search for HOURS to get it and get to the point I was stuck(AND I MEAN THE POINT WHEN YOU PLAY AS THE LITTLE GIRL TO FREE IRA AND YOU DID NOT FIND THE DAMN FAIR PIN AND GOTTA RESTART THE WHOLE DAMN GAME TO FIND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Hey who is the voice actor for the husband? Isn't the voice actor Mark Crilley (awesome artist who teaches how to draw on youtube) or is it a different person?

This game is brutal, in the best of the ways. I'm sure there is some influence from The Mist, whether it's intentional or not. thought it seems to really lean towards the religious/apocalyptical explanation. It's good anyway. The "shotgun stravaganzza" kinda drove me crazy, but I couldn't stop playing and the story and the details really deserve it. Awesome atmosphere.

What was the point of shooting him in the head at the end? That one guy shot himself in the head with a shotgun and the other was split halfway through and they were both still alive alive.

5/5 for the game, although it's just a copy from King's "The Mist" with an open-end. Hm, yeah, I would've liked a lil bit more of your own inspiration, but, honestly: For a clone, it's 5/5.

The whole premise of this game reminds me of "The Mist" by Stephen King, except with some God stuff thrown in. Pretty fun game, although if there's a message, I'm not entirely sure what it's saying. 5/5 stars

Brilliant game! However I'm stuck. After I've played the tape and asked Amy about Seth, I can't progress - the walkthrough says I gotta ask her twice but I don't get that dialogue option anymore.

Apparently, I asked around about the first aid kit before I was supposed to, and got awfully stuck. Had to look up the walkthrough and restart, though I did absolutely everything else correctly. Silly me, I should have realized that letting my klepto- and pyro-mania run wild in this little convenience store was clearly of higher priority than asking around about the first aid kit my husband clearly needs.

The shotgun mini game was probably my only complaint, with a bit on the remote car. Anyway, really good game! Great acting, story, game play! Kudos to creator and all those who helped.

I remembered playing this game years ago and I absolutely loved it that time. Sadly, I didn't manage to remember its name properly that time. One day, I just feel like playing that game I love years ago, without knowing its name. So I just searched from the horror tag on jayisgames site (why I didn't search at this site is a mystery to me. It's much more easier to search from tag here than there). I spent quite sometimes searching just for this one game I remember vaguely from years ago. I was so happy when I somehow manage to find this game at last. This time, I burned the name down into my brain, because this game is just that awesome. I love almost everything about this game. The art really fit the story, and also very nice looking. The voice acting is quite well done. The story is rather unpredictable. I just love this game. Awesome game! 5/5

The mini games really were terrible, the car one was the worst. Some of the puzzles didn't fit logic ie setting the cat on fire (WTF animal cruelty). The story was good for the most part, but there was too much The Mist in there, and the bible bits feel ham handed. At a few points I had to click an object more then once to get it. The video with the monster where I had to click on the face of the monster when by too fast, and I almost stopped playing the game because of it. It could of been better, but the hiccups where distracting. 3/5

I was NOT expecting that. Potentially the best game I've played in a while. I really thought this was going to be lame as f*ck and I'd get bored and cut out of it early to find something else to catch my attention, damn was I wrong! I wish it would've been longer or have more games like it ,the graphics, the story, the acting , the whole 9. Just wow, great game. Thanks for the entertainment!

Need a save option and for god sake some help for what we are looking for... a deo + lighter to burn a cat... just how da hell i'm suppose to guess that ?!

Brilliant and awesome game, only complaint is the car game, i swear either i have poor depth perception, or the car is hitting stuff behind it

I wonder how did Rick die.I mean,in the Bible it said that God made these creatures for tormenting the people (with their extremely painful stings) for 5 months but to kill no-one.And these aren't like people,to disobey God's will. The ending is also a little melodramatic and clicheic. All in all these are most of the flaws, but I loved this game.
Bonus meme-like comment:Am I the only one around here who thinks there is nothing wrong with Seth?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It would have been an awesame game but the video tape bits were poorly thought out, the car game was stupid and the shotgun game was... well I dont quite understand why the locust werent dying from a point blank shot to the face when they were in the targetting circle. Overall this is a 4 star game, but the mini games break the immersion too much.
if I wanted to play those sort of games I wouldnt have fired up a point and click adventure game.
But
The concept and plot are awesome, the game is for the most part very atmospheric with the acting being genuinely enjoyable. The artwork and animation is top notch.
Worth playing, but maybe give people the option to skip the mini games after a couple of tries when you make this sort of game again.

Really? We have to flametorch the flies twice and have them attack the cat? How were we supposed to figure that out? There is too much running back and forth and asking people things again, and the dreary hovering over every inch of the screen till the pick-up cursor shows up.
