Indeed. I don't even like match 3 games that much, and went into this one expecting the same old song. I am forced to admit that I was pleasantly surprised. The varying goals, methods required, and strictures combined with the presence or lack thereof of powerup pieces on the various levels really do work well together to keep things quite interesting. The gameplay kept me in here for a good 10 minutes - and for me that's aeons for a match 3 game, trust me. The graphics seem a bit same-y after a while though, perhaps at least vary up the backgrounds/board elements a bit? That would help break the feeling of sameness quite a bit I think. Perhaps even have some levels that change as you progress to something more menacing or something? Just a thought - overall I am quite impressed here - well done.

Thanks for the feedback, I was wondering about the backgrounds etc. but I took them out to reduce the file size a bit, I think if I do an updated version I might put them back in as you suggested. Glad you liked it and kept you engaged more than you were expecting. That's always a bonus :)

I thought this is just another match-3 game, but I waas quite surprised at the dropping-concept. The objective system also nice, it's really good to see that there are more, not only clear X gems in Y time. The get the sphere to the bottom levels are my favourites so far, you need some planning with them.

Thanks for the feedback and your surprise :) Yes, I got a little bored of the usual "clear this" game and hopefully it's just that little different.

This starts off entertaining. I like the variety of levels, some timed, some limited by numbers of moves so it's more about strategy. But as others have noted, at the higher levels it starts to come down to luck. Some scenarios are just unwinnable and so you have to re-play them over and over until the pieces fall just right. It's just not fun at that point.

the amount of luck necessary at later levels makes it less fun...... but in general i liked it a lot..... 4/5
