the way I see it is that the barcode = the metal bars in the jail window @ the last screen.. so data(barcode) = restriction? because tech is manupulated by the wealthy and we are restricted by them...

I just realized how all the barcodes at the very end are references to things. "There are other worlds than these," is The Gunslinger by Stephen King. "I am a man of wealth and taste," is from Sympathy for the Devil by the Rolling Stones. "Even ideas can be killed," is from V for Vendetta.

It's showing none of us are ever really free or sane. It's sad because it's all true, that we can't escape the lies and be free. This world is tragic.

I wish there were a bit more secret barcodes, like when you see a room and the outline of the walls made the barcode.

To get the scanner, go to the computer and press the buttons in the following order: red, green, dark blue, light blue, pink, yellow.
And for the colorless pyramid, the order is: top button, bottom left, bottom right, left middle, bottom middle, right middle.

SUPER SPOLIER FROM THE END OF THE GAME: You get out in a big corridor and you see that you're free... but then that was just imagination :) You're a crazy guy in a sanatorium :) THE END

IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHERE THE SCANNER IS, DON'T READ IT! You go to the computer and play the game, the code is: Red, green, dark blue, light blue, pink and yellow, turn around and you'll get a mail with the scanner. + to keep this comment alive!

Did anyone else notice all the shout-outs at the end? I caught The Prisoner, The Gunslinger by Stephen King, V for Vendetta, and the Rolling Stones.
