Under rating threshold (show) When I saw in the notes that Yume Nikki was an inspiration for this game, I was not surprised. As soon as I started it, I got the same feeling of uneasiness that I got playing Yume Nikki, which is very good. While the atmosphere isn't as eerie and heavy (which is probably a good thing considering Yume Nikki is crazy enough), it was very unsettling, and pretty involving; I really liked the absence of music and colors, and the backstory we had to search for. Well-deserved 5/5. Anyone who enjoyed this really oughta try out Yume Nikki, it's an unique experience, and the creepiness remains unmatched. Fun fact: I actually found the map fairly easy to navigate; at least, it's not one of those looping voids of blankness, and it's not that big. Good job.

Under rating threshold (show) Ending 7 (with the shattered diagram) has to do with the lighthouses, for everyone who's been asking.

Under rating threshold (show) I think a minimap would make it stupid. Unknown worlds don't typically have cartography. Anyhow, great game, but the color scheme, while being creative, gave me a headache, which is the prime reason I stopped prematurely. 4/5

Under rating threshold (show) Endings (not in order) That I remember finishing. 1) Leave right away 2) Spend some time (1-2+ min) then leave 3) Collect all the tally's and leave through the Triangle tent thinga-ma-bob 4) Collect all the rings and leave through the dome 5) Collect the bones and leave through the portal between 4 small domes. 6) Arrange the lights according to the diagram 7) Follow the path to the end and leave that way 8) (my most frustrating one) Find all the hidden signposts. The first hidden post will tell you that the 2nd is the 2nd yay. One of the later ones says find the two gears and go north. Don't just go north, you will find a post but it's out of order now and you need all of them. Can anyone list the last solution? Far right ending.

Under rating threshold (show) I love the simplicity of this game, but how it has some really great pixel art and is very artistically created. The story is also pretty interesting and kept me engaged while some other games I would probably just want to skip through it. Nice job.

Under rating threshold (show) @tiginator... it's not too many stories... it's the story of a whole civilisation, what they beleived in, what they did, what happened to them... all of the stories help you build an image. You can't put a limit on that

Under rating threshold (show) I've been playing for about five minutes, and something about the atmosphere of this game has kept me on the verge of a panic attack the entire time. I assume this is intentional, so, good job! It's hard to accomplish that sort of intense feeling just through being in a game, but you've really pulled it off.

Under rating threshold (show) If it wasn't for the world-building going on in the somewhat static story, this game would be immensely dull. As it stands, it is merely boring. I played most of the way to the end, mostly just to kill time because I couldn't think of anything else to do at the time, but I didn't much enjoy it I'm afraid and was left wondering why I had bothered at all. Especially since I can't find the exit for ending 7 at all, despite having every item in the game.

Under rating threshold (show) Spent something like an hour to beat the game, but I enjoyed it. Amazing backstory, and a great game, though the lack of an ending after finally finding every secret was a little disappointing (unless you count the Epiphany). For that, it gets knocked from a 6/5 to a 5/5 ^_^.

Under rating threshold (show) I know you made everything be near the path, but I felt like I had explored all of the path and not found everything, so I started a tedious exhaustive search, and then found a walkthrough to find the last few things. This was unpleasant enough and basic enough to the gameplay that it dropped my opinion of the game to 3/5 from probably 5/5 otherwise. Some amount of mapping with marks of where you had found things would fix this.

Under rating threshold (show) It is decent for it's genre of game. A lot of people don't go for this sort, but some do enjoy playing a small game to find out a story. However, it gets really, really dull near the end, when you are missing just one piece from each collection and don't feel like scouring the whole map.

Under rating threshold (show) I wasn't going to complain about anything, until I didn't walk through the portal I made by finding all the signposts, instead opting to try a different one because I thought hey, I found them all, everything stays. That immediately made me drop the entire game because there is no way I'm redoing that in a game this "empty and vast". Yes, I was intrigued by the story, and what happened there, but not enough to waste more minutes simply walking and being lost on a huge map.

Under rating threshold (show) Dear January, I have just completed one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life that do not involve you. The Epiphany has shown me much. I would have you touch the Epiphany, but I would not want your eternal perfection to be marred by by such a lifeless, misshapen place. Alas, my journey was difficult. Really, really difficult. And long. And kind of confusing at times. And a strain on my eyes. My only solace now is knowing that my eyes will soon be comforted by the sight of you, and that I will be able to give this game a 5/5. I rush to you. Yours, September.

Under rating threshold (show) I kind of think that the diagrams portal was unfair, there isn't any indication of where your supposed to use the knowledge, aside from the fact that there are directions in respect to 4 objects (HINT HINT). This clue also helped a bit:http://twitter.com/GregoryWeir/status/17820949426. Anyways, nice game, but much too tedious for a perfect score, 4/5

Under rating threshold (show) Alright, I give up with just one bone left to find (#5). I'd love it if the little critters that scurry away when you touch them ran towards the nearest item you haven't picked up yet, or a random item you haven't got yet or at least SOMETHING to stop you simply searching every pixel for a tiny flashing one.

Under rating threshold (show) The developer did an excellent job with map design. Through the lack of a map (mini or otherwise) and the black-and-white, mostly identical imagery, the player feels lost for much of the game. But at the same time, he was careful to make sure that each artifact or important location is tied to the paths, even if loosely. There is no need to go wandering aimlessly in the dark; even the hidden signpost ending has a scavenger hunt feel to it, so it's not unguided. Additionally, I love the indirect storytelling -- it makes you feel like you are really exploring, not just having every detail handed to you. Excellent atmospheric game.

Under rating threshold (show) yeah because all of the sign-posts are refered to by previous sign-posts, the lower their number the less likely you are to find them. and then the one hint "east of the second hidden sign-post" which requires you know the first hidden sign post, which is the most unlikely to find is a little... there could have been a trick to help finding the first sign post, like having one of the later sign-posts read something like "east of here, just past the first hidden sign post" or something like that.

Under rating threshold (show) i really cant figure out what the puzzle does or means. the 7th ending is still open for me. the top-rated comment by samerules4ever doesn't solve it for me. i systematically scanned through the whole loom searching for that artifact-related location. i can only find the triangle (tally), dome (humans), and that dragon thingy.. and searching through 400 comments searching for 7 and "seven" didnt helo either

Under rating threshold (show) The only puzzle which perplexed me was the seventh ending, with the scraps. I kept looking for meaning in the symbols on the scraps, when there really wasn't any. Some indication of how those images correlate to objects in the game world would have been immensely helpful.
