I got a floor that was literally the room I started in and two others. There were nice tennis shoes in one, and the switch to the next level in the other. +15 dodge is so rigged. FINAL STATS:

Not bad. The random element leads to some interesting choices - like whether or not to enter a room to get a large chest knowing that the first tile of the room contains a trap you may well take damage from. But not enough choices. Or variety. It starts to become a bit boring. Cool take on the roguelike, though. Gold just a score tracker? Health tonics intentionally ultra-rare, or was I just unlucky?

Necropolis was in Fallout 1, 1997, years and years before Dragonfable, and that didn't stop them from using it years later. Just because something's in a game, doesn't mean it's copyrighted, you braindead fanboy. Next people are going to claim vampires, werewolves, fighters, mages as copyrighted...

Good concept... but the game gets tedious and repetitive. I had to be inches from my computer screen to see where the spikes were, and that got tiring after 5 levels.. let alone 25. Also, a dungeon map would be nice

Well, if Necropoils is copyright to dragonfable, it's a good thing this game is Necropo-LIS. Also Gittonsxv is right: The term 'necropolis' doesn't have to be a proper name, it's also a generic word. Though it's actually a latin term for very elaborate and extensive crypts. Italy should sue the makers of Dragonfable for stealing their patented word!

And to the person below.....some of the later traps are hard to see on purpose. Even with a high detect skill, some of the spike traps may be very lightly shaded. So you'll have to tread carefully. Later on, it just pays to tap the tool key as you tiptoe about a room that could be very well filled to the brim with trigger happy death.

Another comment: you seem to have very intricate knowledge of booby traps. Is there something you're not telling us about?

good but needs several things, foremost among them a) many more types of traps and b) a way to turn around without moving.

this is a totally underrated gem... sound and music design is excellent! usually i want to mute games... this set the mood just right!

after i finished the game it shows what items i had, and the slots are called head, body, hands, head. otherwise a decent game. for some reason it reminds me of cthulu-y stuff.

Honestly, went through most of game with 12 dodge, 1 detect, and 6 disable. Even when able to find traps, was injured more often than not attempting to disable it. Ended with 52 tools for lack of good reason to use them.
I presume the big chest equipment is totally random? Nothing like getting a +1 health -1 Detect on floor 24...

A wonderful example of a random generation game done correctly. 4/5. A slight gameplay flaw, however, occurred when I was more likely to avoid damage by tripping traps than attempting to disable them.
And I'm usually not one to post scores, but I was quite proud of this one;
Equipment:
Head: Shiny Goggles (Detect +5)
Body: Tailored Sundress (Dodge +4)
Hands: Deft Bracer of Science! (Disable +7, Health +6)
Head: High Heeled Moccasins of Class (Dodge +2, Detect +5)

Patented Health Tonics: 1
Disposable Tools: 25

Cute game... kinda fun
But pretty easy - it's good that the skill level required to dodge/disable/detect traps rises with the levels, but besides that, everything else pretty much stays the same, making for a slightly repetitive game.
3/5
(I like your other game a lot though!)
