@Eazul, yep, took me a bit to figure that one out too, lol. I kept trying to give the kid to the helicopter and it kept moving away and I was like, "WTF? Don't you want the kid? TAKE IT!!!" lol

@Gads332. THANK YOU!!! I got endings A, B, D, and E, but just couldn't figure out C, lol. I guess as much as I used to think about suicide, it just isn't in me because the thought of committing it in this game seriously never occurred to me!

This game made me shiver in insight - a simple but powerful example for being good or bad. A mirror for everyone if one were provided with ultimate powers - would you build up or would you destroy? Would you go god's path or you go straight down to hell? I cried because I couldn't save the child. My forefinger wasn't powerful enough :-(

HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO RESCUE THE FREAKING KID????? I tried not moving him towards the helicopter and moving the sharks but the THING NEVER CAME. WHAT THE HECK???

Still love it! This game was one of the main reasons I took a deeper look into flash games. It really shows what's possible, when you have a creative mind... Gregory is amazing.

@ YellowNomNom: Not sure about other browsers, but Chrome secretly updated itself without my knowledge recently, yet AGAIN. If you see the little puzzle jigsaw icon on very right corner of your addressbar, click "Run all plugins this time". I have made exemption for kongregate to run all plugins but Chrome is broken like so.

My favorite part is they love and hate because I drowned a fisherman, they saved a child and 2 Airplane banner(one is love and one is kill).
I taught that one is another ending.

There's an odd thing that I don't see mentioned here, that is that none of it is an actual dream. Weak evidence first: it's uncommon to wake up to a nosebleed, but even less common to wake up to blood dripping from your ear. If you'll remember, these endings happen when the monster dies. Ending A closes with a helicopter flying away, and in the waking world, a helicopter is heard. I think the best evidence for this is in ending E. It closes with the monster shouting a victory cry, and wakes to a similar cry echoing into the distance. The counter-argument is that all these things were actually happening, and simply provided as inspiration to the dream. But if it's assumed we don't wake up in a different location, I'm unsure what could make a sound like that in a city. Obviously, it's just an idea, but I figured I'd list it out and give my two cents. Certainly it provides interesting food for thought about what happens in the hours or days after you wake up.

This game was actually entertaining! I remember playing this when i was little! (I did not know what was going on back then. lol)
The story is a bit odd, but it is really interesting, but i like how there can be 5 different endings and that you can choose what to do.
The gameplay was not that bad, but it was SIMPLE. Sure there was no some sort of abilities in this, but its the trade off for having yourself destroy army boats and a submarine, which was actually entertaining!
The other endings where you give fish to the fishermen and save the boy from sharks was alright, and it was sweet. Ever since last time i played this game, i realized how the ending went, and i was very surprised.
Overall, not the BEST short game there is, but it is very well thought out. 4 out of 5 stars. Keep up the good work!

The five endings are like this: A: Human Helper; You have to help all the humans. Let the man on the boat live, help the fishermen and save the child B: I couldn't save him; Do all the things as above, but let the sharks eat the boy. DO NOT KILL THE BOY. C: Death by mines; Get killed by the army boat. To get to the army boat, kill the first man, and wait. There'll be a boat, dropping mine. Take those mines, and put the to your eyes (right side of the screen, the 'stones') D: Death by submarine; Get killed by the torpedoes from the supmarine. Very simple, just wait till they smash your eyes. To get to the submarine, you have to kill the first man and the mine-boat E: Human killer; Kill all of the humans. The first man on the boat, the mine-boat and the submarine. To kill the submarine, grab the torpedoes and take them to the ship.

While it's a short game, it does take some time (if you aim to avoid spoilers/walkthroughs) before you can figure out how to achieve all the endings. And the game ends with a twist.

there should be more possible endings, combining something like, not helping the fishermen or not taking the first man to begin with, or even not touching any balloon

*Master comes, sits down and start typing review.* This game is good in story! I really liked it! Graphics of course for pixel art in way is good, and i enjoyed playing it! It's overall ranking isn't very good, because people don't understand story and it's meaning! I ranked 5 out of 5, because i enjoyed it and i want more games like this! Thank you, that i could play it! *Stops crying, finishes review and go sleep! Later in dreams i dream about that i'm sea monster, or as people might say Kraken!*
