sorry about that - we uploaded a new version but forgot to turn off a debug value - this version was online for 24 hours but we soon changed after noticing our MASSIVE fail. We do not think we wil be uploading any new versions.

It's not that I don't like the game.. And I haven't finished the game, so it may change later.. But it says it's an exciting spin on turn based RPGs. I'm really not seeing anything different from standard final fantasy combat, aside from having only one character. Being completely unable to influence the development of my character also doesn't help.
being able to upgrade your character is something we are working on for the sequel - thanks for your review! we really hope you like Limit Break level 3....

I really loved this game and I honestly can't wait for the actual first chapter. My one suggestion might be to add a Bestiary so we can learn what the enemies weaknesses are.

4/5 Like the art and the music. Hopefully you get some more levels in the future of Enola. I know It's only a prelude, and we can replay alot, But it still seems too short.
Time flies when your having fun! Its a shame you felt the game was short, but we hoped you enjoyed it while it lasted. Look out for future instalments of Enola :) Let us know if you have any suggestions for the sequels.

i liked the game, except that status effects are WAY TOO OP, i cannot stress that enough, the final boss couldnt even hit me, 3 slows and poison, 2 slows means he doesnt get turns, and the poison ticks for 8k, faster and stronger than i can even attack. and with infinite mana i could keep that combo up for the entire fight... also limit 3 was a huge dissapointment. it does less damage than pheonix strike. good game, could be made great with some tweaking.

I think it's a recent glitch with everyone starting at level 30. My first guy was a normal starting level, but then I closed the tab and when I came back I had no save in slot one. When I loaded it up again I was level 30 with ridiculous health, normal mana, and they scaled respectively.

Starting at level 31? And simply scrolling through the rest of the comments it seems this is only the tip of the iceberg on bugs.

For those of you having troubles with the last boss, i was level 18 and had equipped the dream slayer. What i did was kept healing, cast occasionaly frenzy and spam the tactic: phoneix strike, restore mana, heal when needed, ramei and so on. If you want to do it quickly and easili, i found a "trick". Cast ramei as much as possible and luckily the enemy will have 2 slow status which will stop the action bar. Combine it with a poison status taking 8k+ damage with shattered armor and keep doing what i said before. In 5 minutes you'll get him. + so others can see!

What is the point on replaying the game with badass gear and the enemies are the same ? Plus , the game is cool but way to short.

Experienced some bugs with the timer against the last boss, well, it didn't work at all when he had around 5-10% HP left. Besides that it was a very entertaining experience

its a win win type game. instant health/mp restore guarantees victory. lack of char diversity makes this like driving route 66. theres only one path and its rather straight like a desert road.

Protip. Add a way to slide game speed all the way between slower than slowest snail to ridiculously fast. Like 0.1x --> 10x, that way players can find best game speed for themselfes, becouse for me, the current game speed is way too slooooow.. i hate waiting :(

@ nixem, what is Elona: prelude? Are you suggesting this game ripped off itself because someone typo'd the name Elona in a link to Enola?

I'd like to have a function that would automatically do the standard attack when the action bar is full and you have not selected any attack. Other than that, great game. 4/5

Okay after completing the game I realized its too easy. I didnt get close to dying once. For the fact that there was no challenge. it gets 4/5. Otherwise its great.

Good game but too slow I hate the wait time in between attacks, especialy if I only have one enemy and know what I'm going to do. also, I don't know if this is just becuase of my computer but it loads really slowly. I can't place it but it does seem differnt somehow. Grindhead take everyones comments into account and you can make it a lot more fun, I can see it. Decent for a demo though.

What's the twist on the genre again? Also, a part of RPGs is starting with a stick and ending with a flaming tungsten greatsword, but in this you start with a "wooden sword" that is made of diamonds, EVERY WEAPON LOOKS THE SAME, IT'S EITHER GOLDEN OR DIAMOND.

To the developers: At the last boss, slow(ramei's) debuff can be stuck up 3 times and it stops the enemy's speed actually.
Hope you find it useful. Btw, great game, keep it up.

This is actually pretty good, I have to say. The attacks are well done, the monsters look great, and, while I'm not seeing the "spin", I think the battles are all very great. However, the lack of real exploration, (It's basically just move from level to level on a map and kill a number of waves of enemies) as well as no real character customization aside from the basic "Gain a level, gain a preset ability," all just make me want to play the other successful RPGs on here, like the Mardek or Epic Battle Fantasy series. I'd also really like to know why our hero here seems to love stabbing people in the junk,

nice game. I like the Aesthetic. That last fight was a pretty high jump in the difficulty curve, though. It had at least five or so times the hit points of any other thing, and two consecutive big attacks from it killed my character without anything I could've done. Oh well. Cheers!

4/5 Needs more story development and some mechanic to set it apart from other rpgs. It'd also be nice if there were more characters and if there was an economy.

Too easy. No choice in character. Only one equipment (your sword). Very limited in choice and customization. Fun for 30 min, then go on to next game that's better

I loved the game, it's soundtrack is very good and I liked the graphs too, also the gameplay, but i'm concerned with just one thing...
Why the poison effect is based on the max health? I think it's unnecessary, because that way you can kill any boss easily, for example the final one. My poison hits (17k) were almost stronger than the Phoenix Strike (20k), and I was with the final weapon, Nightmare Sword!

Somehow I started the game at level 30 with 15,000 some odd HP. When I ranked up to level 35 (at normal exp rates, just a couple of battles), I realized the game was buggy, as it gave me an achievement for reaching 5.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I Keep starting at level 30, at first it was cool, but then I realized I never would learn new attacks, and I was doomed to never be defeated. Smh I think you sir. have a bug.
