WOW!!
Just saw Fractured 2 on the main page and went back to this one to play it first...
Must say, I'm VERY impressed... I'm a huge fan of puzzle plataformers and I must say this is a awesomely thought brand new mechanic.
Congratulations! Just some suggestions: "R" for retry, stage selection, whole poem available when done, some bonus poem line for the challenge maps!
Anyway, 5/5 for the originality and all! Thanks for the amazing mind bending situations

Hey, Escher, when did you get into making Flash games? But seriously, this is a brilliant piece of work. The puzzles are challenging, but not frustrating, and between the brilliant poetry and haunting voice acting, it gives it an additional creepy edge that, when combined with the broken aesthetic of the world design, makes it very effective in conveying emotion. The poetry accompanying the game is absolutely delightful, and I could easily reach the cap just complimenting it, but suffice it to say that it suits the game perfectly. Overall, an easy 5/5

That story, though. It looks like a little bot just lost his mother. She's dead, and she's the one reading the poem. She's trying to stop the little boy from following her, but in the end, in the last level, he kills himself to be with her. Hence, the leap of faith into the void.
I could be wrong, but that's what I got from the game. And if that's the case...this "innocent" game is very, very sad.
Your interpretation is entirely fair but there's more than one way to interpret the story. Perhaps the boy finally learns to let go of his mother and move on with his life instead of following her shadow? In this case, the story is actually quite opposite of sad.

i love trying to find out which pannel im in and which i will go to next! could there be a mode where you play the levels normal?
As far as platforming difficulty goes, the levels themselves are quite simple. It's breaking them up that makes them difficult. I'm afraid it would be zero fun to play regularly.

There are a few levels where you can skip most of it since you start above the ghost. I guess that's probably intentional, since it would be pretty obvious while you design the level.

I love this game. It's sweet, sad, and it makes my brain hurt. But that's OK, because it shows that you really have to think and observe the pieces of the puzzle. Overall, I love this game, and can't wait for the sequel to appear.

i love the game. original concept. and i love (well, the masochistic kind of love...) how in the end you leap blindly trusting the game to make you fall in to the platform, and then realising you leaped to your death. feels simbolic, and a great corelation between the meaning of the game and the game mechanics. 5/5

Instead of over analyzing the board, I just kept jumping random places until I could figure out how the puzzle pieces related to each other. I would give it a four on a four point scale (4/4) for originality.
Initial feedback said the game was too short so I created the bonus levels to provide more content but unfortunately, the story and the voice actress was already finalized at that point.

Love the concept, and execution; What a beautiful game. Although I was hoping that upon completing all the main levels, that we would be able to hear the poem read together, as it was very well read.

Very lovely! Backgrounds do an awesome job of conveying a sense of surreal location and assisting the game mechanic of traversing the fractures. The music is pleasantly immersive, yet just jarring enough (with the electric guitar) to fit the overall mood and theme. You're right, this is quite the unique theme! I finished the story with one or two falls, but the bonus levels do *not* want me to continue. :) Also, beautifully unoffensive morally. 5 stars. Excellent job.

Ok, a good platformer. I like the idea its original, but can we please stop the guy chasing a theme? Its in every new platfomer and a pass to put the tag "art" next to games from little love stories and pseudophilosophy. Its not art its a game, a good game.
I didn't add the Art tag, others have voted it in. I agree that a small narrative doesn't necessarily make it art. I'm happy others see the game that way though. ;)

Oh, and you need to recap the poem! I had too loud music on at first, and well, my memory is rubbish so I wouldn't remember it through doing puzzles anyhoo, but I want to see it after I play, so for the next game add the poem at the end ;)
