Only through reading the comments did I discover you can break the crystals. Still managed to complete it without using it...

yoshidude64 You can break the crystals with the snails fireballs. This is also how you get the triple bombs in crystal caverns.

Nooo bad kitty! great game i always love these and they are always good for a nice waste of time. Only thing is it has been a while but didn't these used to have a little more story in the beginning. Keep up the great work. cant wait for more.

I feel like the area just before the key has some pretty bad game design. the game expects you to make the most difficult movements in the game without your shield... To add insult to injury, it takes at least a minute to get from the save point to the difficult part. Other than the ending, I loved this game. I really hope you make more enjoyable games like this in the future, Hamumu. 4/5

Fun fact, @Eppie_Spacely (and anyone else who might be thinking the same): "Kitty" was actually the first game to be published. This is the third. I mean, it does say so right in the description. Not that it's a very surprising misconception to have, though, seeing as how this is yet another one of those shining examples of quantity over quality and "more" not automatically equalling "better". Such a shame, too, since I actually kinda liked the original, despite the genre not strictly being my cup of tea to begin with.

For anyone that wants the multibomb upgrade in the crystal caves, you need the deflect and the shield. What you have to do is deflect the snail's projectile into the fist crystal which will break it, and go through the other one with your shield.

...It turns out it's much, -much- easier to just suicide charge into the middle of drillbaby holding fire than it is to try and celing cling and attack from above, in the way I presume you are meant to..

This game is basically unplayable if you're not watching the walkthrough because you have to do things in a very specific order and the "hint" system doesn't work at all. It's nice that they learned from their mistakes and made the Kitty game fun and playable.

I killed drill baby before I got half the items and I played thru the rest of the game not figuring out that I could block shots by ducking until I looked at the walkthrough in frustration

No prompt on accidentally clicking the "New Game" after you completed the game with several awards. My hand shakes. I lost it all.

things take WAY too many hits to kill even minions take quite a few and the weapon powerups don't really feel impactful. Beyond that the bosses ... As an example baby digger has enough space to hit its weak spot of exactly one bomb ... an excellent boss idea except it's weak point is way to dang small which wouldn't be bad if I could get one of those to hit consistently instead of blowing up against the inside walls of the boss...
Similarly the big angular fish has a hit box of it's weak point of ... maybe 20 pixels if I'm being generous and is CONSTANTLY firing bullets you have to dodge - again if the hit box of the sucker was large enough that if your in position to hit it you usually do this wouldn't be a problem. these bosses are BORING me to death more than anything else... I should be rewarded for figuring out their pattern not punished especially in a game where you are supposed to be able to do it quickly if your skillful

just in case anyone else is as pacifist as i am, while Supply Closet *can* be traversed with the shield... it would be much quicker, easier and less frustrating if those damn drones would get blown up by three thrown bombs each. :-"

It's a bit stupid that the fastes way to beat the "bosses" is to just rush it and get as much dmg in as you can before you die. Rince, repeat.

This was a good game! I had to watch a bit of the walkthrough [thank gosh that's there] but I made it out alright! 5/5 for me.

I remember doing another game like this before for a BotD. That one was way better. This is a 1/5 for starting with enemies and no weapon... who wants to survival-platform for that long? The first few game features should be easier to get to, else there's little fun in playing the game with artificial difficulty. I hope these games don't get BotD anymore, because that would be my only reason to play them.

Music and environment was nice, as was this game in concept, however a good deal of the difficulty was due to ultra-precise controls which was pretty frusterating.
