this game reminds me of that old online megaman game:D everytime you beat a boss you'd get a item vital to killing the next boss ex freeze ray to kill fire man etc

Guys I have a massive extinction of bats, crabs, snails, jellyfishs and even killed the unique bigge animal (bosses) and risked my life in the station... to get a single fish. LEL

um, every time any event happens (mob dies, game saves, powerup, etc.) the game lags for like 3-7 seconds, which basically makes this un-playable for me.

I love all these games! Each time, there is always a similar plot, but the power-ups and adventures are different. These games continue to be creative masterpieces :) Please make more of Robot Wants :) 5/5 <3

much more challenging than the others, mostly due to the bomb-throwing mechanics, and slightly due to the fact that you don't teleport around in the order that you need to solve things in.
but this is not necessarily a bad thing.

@scarotum: Elephants. Do you know what awesome game designer makes games about elephants? Good. Now imagine a collab game made between them. "Robot Wants Achievements". Somebody tell jmtb02. Now.

for the people complaining about the power up in the lower left side of the crystal caverns, all you need to do is use the refraction shield to bounce some snail slime up to melt the crystal. also to the people complaining that they got stuck in the crystal caverns without double jump, you can get out if you have the one hit shield.

I don't know, you had a good thing going with the first game, and the second one was okay, but this one is just sort of uncreative. It's not that different, and it just seems like way too much backtracking and running around to try and find the one upgrade you need.

Also, this is absolutely the best game in the series. The world is so... Big! So much to explore and so much to find, it kind of converts it from a coffe break game to a full blown metroidvania. I love it!

Robot loves Kitty and Puppy, but disregards Fishy. Kitty loves Fishy and Robot but hates Puppy. Puppy loves Robot but hates Kitty. Fishy will hate kitty very shortly. Anyone else see the making of a soap opera?

This game was quite a bit more frustrating than the previous ones, but still managed to be a great game. That last jump was quite annoying though if you don't get how the double-jump works. Looking forward to another one.

Ah, OK, to get the bomb increase in the Crystal Mines, you need the refractor and to bounce one of the snail projectiles straight up... and you need the shield, too, as the second spike can't be gotten rid of.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
How do you get the bomb increase powerup in the crystal caves? There aren't any snails around to destroy the spikes, and you have to pass by two of them to get to it...

IF YOU DESTROYED ALL OF THE TURRETS AND CANT HURT HIM, YOU NEED TO GET HAXER FROM DEFEATING DAS BOXEN IN THE SUPPLY CLOSET, THEN GO TO PROCESSING STATION AND HAX THE COMPUTERS, THEN THE DOORS WILL OPEN AND YOU CAN BEAT PAL-1000. THE REST IS UP TO YOU..

Uh, yeah. I myself am NOT good at platformers, but I generally liked the Robot Wants series...
Except this one. Apparently, I have a sticky key issue, and this game punished me hardcore for it. Seriously, this was the hardest game in the series, and I my fingers are sore from repeatingly pressing buttons that won't work to get into the exact position to go somewhere. The timings for the jumps in the beginning was especially annoying. It should not take 20 minutes just to find the Double Jump powerup because you can't get back into an area! Gah... Once I got most of the powerups, the game got better, but it was still frustrating. I'm glad this isn't the last game in the series, at least Robot Wants Icecream gives this series a good end.

1. You take the cat across the river, leaving the dog and the fish together.
2. You return and pick up the fish, go across and drop off the fish, but take the cat back with you.
3. You drop off the cat, pick up the dog and bring the dog across to leave with the fish.
4. You go back and get the cat. Never at any point are the dog and cat or the cat and fish by themselves.

For those of you getting stuck on the "ceiling jump" right before the end:
You are still considered "in-air" when on the ceiling, therefore if you used your double jump to attach yourself to the ceiling, the double jump is unavailable until you touch the ground again. Clear the infamous ceiling jump by only jumping once to attach yourself to the ceiling.
