If the robot wants to cross the river and can't leave the cat with the fish and the dog with the cat.... then here's the solution
1. Take the cat
2. leave the cat
3. Take the fish
4. Take the cat
5. Take the dog
6. Leave the dog
7. Take the cat
This is it :)

Eh, I liked the first two, but I'm losing interest in the series. Have to collect the same old power ups; slightly different weapons, but that's it. The enemies are dumb as rocks; only real danger when there's a ton of bullets and/or you're making a pacifist run.
Needs something fresh. Like not having to collect double-jump and ceiling-stick yet again, and giving us an actually new and interesting upgrade. And a dangerous enemy to match.

Dobeur: The only way to get the double bomb is deflecting the snail's shot to one of the crystals. Position the robot and activate the deflecting shield (with down key) when the snail's shot is coming for you. Your shield will deflect up the shot and will destroy the crystal, then just pass through the second crystal with your protective bubble.

@otorimasu you have to throw the bombs at the wings, and then when some armor drops off you can throw bombs at the exposed green body parts until the bat dies.btw can anyone tell me what to do?i have the golden key and all upgrades but i cant get to fishy

I response to Iblob's comment, you take the cat across the river, go back, grab the dog, head across, replace the cat with the dog, replace the cat with the fish, then bring the cat back across.
Or:
cat
nothing
dog
cat
fish
nothing
cat

I nearly gave up at the key section. Completely forgot about bullet reflection. Excellent stuff, loved the "absolutely nothing" power up

iblob, that's why he takes the cat first, leaves it there, goes back, takes the fish there, takes the cat back, takes the dog across the river, goes back and then takes the cat across the river. Logic FTW!

This was the most challenging out the series, but incredibly well thought out. I should've paused when I went AFK... <

How come after getting the pet robot looses all his abilities? I mean c'mon it spent us like 20 mins to find those things and he just dumps it!?

It seems that when I continue a game, all the obstacles reset, which means I cannot get to the double bomb I missed to pick up after killing the bat boss because, well, since the boss is dead i cannot kill it to open the doorway.

My only question is were all the pestores closed, was it really easier to go to planets full of aliens than a petstore

While the series is good and highly enjoyable, it's starting to get repetitive. Honestly, it's starting to get dry. I do enjoy that new powers and such were added, but it's still just making me feel as though it's lacking something. Just feels like it's the same game as before.

It's all right, but I found it more annoying to play than the other two "Robot Wants X" games. Too many obstacles makes it almost impossible to pass by some points, and the underwater controls are iffy. I liked it, but it's too hard! 3/5

the very last jump--[SPOILER ALERT]--where you have to drop from the ceiling and then jump back up so that you can get to the golden door--is extremely difficult. i've spent most of my evening playing this game. the bosses seem to be ridiculously difficult but i'm willing to accept that as a reasonable challenge. but this final jump is ridiculous. it's pretty much ruined my experience of your game and it's no longer worth it to me to finish playing. (i've spent the good part of an hour grinding away at this task, which is roughly 2/3rds of the amount of time i've put into the game. that's more than enough, i think, to decide that your ending sucks.)

i think there should be another badge for beating it in less than 20 mins...(doing that gives you the rocket robot achievent)

Great game, but it feels a lot less polished than the first two. Whereas Robot Wants Kitty featured level design that seemed to be tailor-made for speedruns (whether intentional or not), and Robot Wants Puppy featured some innovative weapons (especially the cat itself), this installment seems determined to frustrate you at every turn through ridiculous obstacles and bosses that are incredibly hard to hit. The final corridor to obtain the Golden Key is unfairly difficult, and the learning curve is a bit ridiculous (going from two boxes circling around in a small space to a computer core and angler fish that bullet-spam you while you attempt to hit it's tiny weak point). It's worthy of a 4/5, but I feel it could have been a lot better.
