Okay, I do now get the point of the respawning (it's still super annoying), but is the final boss really supposed to be beaten in one go? I get to Kitty all right, but when I die I have to redo the whole Tom Stone portion from scratch which doesn't make any sense.

I'm hoping there's a power-up to stop the enemies from respawning every time they scroll off the screen, because I've killed these same bots about five times already. If not, this feature is a serious drawback.

why can't I shoot the boss and run away from him at the same time? I play by coward's rules. I can't win this way... :(
