Quick way to get several levels completed towards the Hard badge: Unlock 'All Ghost mode' (requires at least 10 XP to buy, within first tier). In the path that the ghosts follow, Build up an "Anti-Ghost Burst" tower. Then send several ways at once. The quick sends will give you more bubbles, and you can upgrade it to the maximum rather quickly. Put up a second one further along the path, to catch any bosses that slip past the first. Then just hurry up with the rest of the waves.

I am not sure what it is about this version of the game, maybe the openness of choosing what you want. But I had a real hard time making myself play this version. I wanted to get the hard badge and I will go for the Credits just for fun. But after that Im off. And I have played the other versions over and over. Wish I could be more help but I just am not sure why. But overall still a good game and I liked the upgrades. Keep up the good work.

Some of the in-game achievements seem bugged. I have beaten all 257 boards, and it still lists under "All Achievements" that I haven't beaten some boards. nor does it list that I have beaten All Normal boards. Oh well, I beat everything I wanted to, so I'm done.

lol i build a square then some zig zag around upgrade all slowly once there all max Spam all waves so u get the enough bubbles, put mega tower - win - :/

why do I still play this game? I know it's gonna crash, Should call it " See if you can build a mega mega tower before it freezes up" i mean the whole intrigue of the game is to build different towers" all I can say is FAIL

I found a game bug. Having a megatower with stun near spawn point can make the game freeze up. (Happened last two waves of Open Split twice.)

Well, it might need an impossible badge, with the name "Bubble Bug Exterminator Badge", and description "Defeat every level in every available mode, and all the bugs that this game contains".

I just had a tower "blow up" on a Closed Path All Splitters level.
Apparently the mobs can glitch to go on the walls and kill your towers.

Having a few... 'small' problems with megamega towers. Half the time I try to make one, something glitches. Last level I tried, I flat out lost all four mega towers when I tried to combine them. Disappeared. Nothing left. Don't know what happened, but I want my towers back!

when you've first gotten the mega-mega towers up and running, that whole survival mode seems kindda trivial...
Burst towers are overpowered, but combined with others, they become ridiculous in the sense that survival modes seems to loose its meaning... when will something come to get me?

@ChaosComplex, you need to make sure that you complete previous levels on the chosen difficulty first. So, for example; if you are wanting to play insane mode on level 4, you must first complete level 3 insane mode first.

What is probability as it applies to dodge chance? Seriously. for a tower defense game, dodge makes easy feel hard. Too much loose bits that should be good, but with horrible application. While I initially enjoy these games, it's honestly crap. Gameplay is stagnant too quickly. Afterwhich there are too many "dead" tower options that inhibit you more than help. Likewise the gold rate compared to the need to upgrade rate is highly distorted.

I dont know if this is a glitch, but I've beaten Down and Over on Normal mode like 5 times, but it doesn't show that I've beaten it, thus it doesn't allow me to move on to the next level with Normal Difficulty.

There's a problem with the in-game achievements. If I filter to misc. then it says I have achieved "Stingy", "Tower of power bronze", "Going Nowhere", "Like Rabbits" and "One Small Step", but if I take the filter off it says I haven't got them. If the achievement is part of a series it does, however, say I have the later ones both with and without the filter (i.e. it's claiming I have finished a level with 1000 bubbles, but not 500), and it is not affecting the achievements for completing levels or for survival mode.
Not really that much of an issue, but slightly annoying when I'm trying to work out which achievements I haven't got yet.

Where is the 'upgrade' screen? I have bought game modes, but they are inactive, and I cannot find where to make them active.

The performance of the game is not really what I am used to. Running it with an Intel i7, if I call in all waves early, it slows down A LOT. This should be improved! Nice game otherwise, despite the mentioned flaws.

My surviver game will not end. Lev 2000 now and I don´t even see any units becaus they´re killed before entering the screen. And why can´t I upgrade my 4 Mega-Mega-Towers into one Mega-Mega-Mega-Tower?

Went halway the game when realised you give NOTHING for completing the games without losing a single life... yes, there is a game mode, One Life, but that's not enough... I played it with maximalism from the very start, never losing a single life, and no achievement for this? Not veen a single line that the game recognize it? 20 life is too much anyway, give me something for my effort doing it perfectly, because it really take away reason from me to continue with the other half of the game... why do it if there's no punishment being weak?

3* - I'm a huge fan of TD: This has a lot of good things I like; however, running 2 mega megas just cripples the enemies and flash. I'm playing on a fairly new laptop, any flash game on the internet should be playable on this regardless of what the game is doing. Lots of good points though, just the niggles should have been ironed out before hand.

I'd love to love this game but it's just flawed in so many ways I can't. Having to play through a bucket load of levels to get to anything interesting is just annoying. I played till I could unlock unlimited mode because I wanted to see a mega mega tower but now I've done it I feel completely underwhelmed. The tower was so powerful I never got to see any enemies. I eventually just gave up and deleted my towers around level 1100 to end it. What's worse is there's stacks of tower types but only the area and sniper seem to be worth going for. Oh well, better luck next time.

A big step up from the first BTTD. I was coming in expecting a good game and got a fantastic TD, although it has no story mode like a normal TD would it has an endless amount of modes and a lot of different maps. Combine this with the items and unlockables and vast array of towers and you have a very in-depth game. More incentive to play such as maybe some sort of level system or story mode would have helped but even without it the game is great. 4/5

Just like the previous one, way too many things jumping at me at once. Loads of enemies, loads of towers, loads of levels, loads of game modes, loads of achievements, loads of upgrades, loads of possible strategies, and most of these can only be figured out through trial and error during games where you want to be paying attention to the fighting. I don't feel at all tempted to look into all this.

On survival around the time i set my third mega tower everything starts to get laggy to the point of making it unplayable. Might have to do with performance on the area towers, as they are the main component.
