Great game! 5/5 but it could use some work, the maps (or map, rather) gets a little too bland after a while. Great idea and I love the ship mechanic with the funny hair.

Between lag, bright idea to let bullet hell enemies lead their shots, too small display area and entire faction with last stand-like ability, this game is barely playable and thoroughly UN-enjoyable.

I understand what you're trying to do with your plea for higher ratings to get funding. That doesn't make the argument legit, however. I am a teacher and I don't say to my students "Give me a 5/5 rating and I will do my job better next time". If you want a 5/5 make a game that deserves it and quit shilling for ratings.
Yeah, I guess I should clarify. What we are requesting is that players not hold ratings ransom, in other words give low ratings until their requested feature is implemented. ie. "I would have given you 4/5 but right now 1/5 until you add flying pony guns!"That's what we are trying to discourage as it won't allow us to add flying pony guns, it's not proactive. If you think the game is a rated something else on it's merits, by all means rate away.

I have loved pretty much every game Hero Interactive has made. However, this begging for 5's is pathetic. Have some pride and let your game stand on its own merits.

The game is ok - as others have mentioned - lack of gun upgrades. The many demands for high score have annoyed me a lot - pretty much like begging letters - and affected the score I have given.

It is dissapointing to know that ALL the comments of hero interactive make the excuse of rating 5 of 5 so he can make the requested upgrades for his game -2 stars for that, really dissapointing.
Just like tyrant!, or ceasary!, or evony!, or senatry!

Only ships that are worth it: Armored Assault, Bullet Storm, AI 3100, Sniper, Crusher. Note that while the Sniper may appear to be bad for crowd control, you'd be surprised how much collateral damage one shot causes.

@TechUnadept You probably didn't know how much Health you had left and the boss killed you. Provide more proof and things like that before saying something is a bug.

I found that the green guys' shields made them invulnerable for long periods of time, which seems really unfair. Please at least limit the shield's health/tell me how to disable the shields

Really smooth gameplay, but there's not much to keep my interest in grinding up through the various ships. There are no upgrades other than simply purchasing ships, and it takes too long to get from one to the next. There are no other bells or whistles, either, like (as petesahooligan said) items or charge-ups which could drop from the kills (aside from the coins, obviously, but those are not interesting). Really would like to see some enhancements like that added to this game, because the action is so smooth and pretty, even on my old PC.

How is damage/health being carried over from one ship to the one you buy? Are they looking at your old ship saying "There ... there and there." Then taking a wrench to your new spaceship? THEN ASKING FULL PRICE FOR A BROKEN, DENTED SPACESHIP?!?!?!

Great game full of promise, it is the base of something fantastic. I would like to especially applaud you for the great balancing of a great unique selection of ships that are well balanced and yet totally different. I would love to see a sequel with the additional features that this game is missing. An in-depth upgrade system, a story with true dialogue to fit the interesting world and characters you created, pickups on the field bombs healths whatnot, variety in battle zones, and the thing that all these types of games suffer from you just can't see far enough. Haven't wrote a comment this long in a while great game that is very fun guys good job hopefully your next project is even better! 4/5

i actually like it i gave it a 4/5 bacause theres a MAJOR problem with shock and awe your 'lightning traps' push enemies out of bound and you can't shoot them there for it make it impossible to kill good graphics very good commentary i found mmyself laughing uncontrolabley 5-6 times then when i look up i forgot to hit 'p' so i died
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
yeah devs asking for 5/5 normal get so much lower ratings then the game actauly deserves! Please if you want higher rating's i'd remove those comments ;)

This is a great game, simple and yet addictive. If anyone finds it hard to kill the BIG SHIPS, just use SHOCK AND AWE till it pushes the BIG ship over the border so it wont fire anything (specially when BIG SHIP spam you). then let 1 BIG SHIP get back in then attack it till it dies, if the others comes back again, just push them over the border again.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
My new favorite ship is the Shock and Awe, because it enables me to use the (unadvertised feature), with it you can push the big capital ships outside the ring, where they can't shoot at you, OK you can't shoot them with anything but the traps, but it made the very hard level, realy easy.

I don't know if it's a glitch, on purpose, or if it's just bad luck, but my ship won't turn while moving, kinda makes even the easy levels harder...

"liked" on facebook, against my better judgement ... and of course, as expected, didnt get the promised reward of +1000 sprockets ...

I wanted to give it a 5 I really did, But the battle area just plain sucks on higher levels. The fact that I can only lock on things I can see on my screen and the the size is so small means I have to take hits just to use some of the secondary weapons. The circle also sucks up your specials if your to close to it. So 2/5

"The game isn't just about "beating" it, it's about doing it in the way you like best. "
@Dev...then why am I trapped in a bubble circle strafing my @## off banging out to robo stripper music @_@! This was not the way the way I liked best =(. J/K...5/5. It was fun...though the mute button coulda been more handily placed in a direct path to the game. =).

Great game. And if you are making a part 2, let me choose a race/sex and make it so sometimes there is a 3-way battle.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hardly worthwhile as a standalone game. This game isn't just "based" on BT3, it's just a reskin of the Bubble Tanks game, yet somehow manages to be vastly inferior to the original.
Having enemies lead you doesn't make for a challenge, it just forces you to be erratic. And as far as the ships go... At the moment, I'm staring at a completed map, using the Bullet Storm, which was apparently nerfed.
If this is your idea of pandering for funding to make another game, then I'd suggest quitting your collective day jobs, as this serious let-down is just going to hinder your chances.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The aesthetics of this game lend it to the snappy bullet hell style of gameplay, but the mechanics remain the same sluggish duke-it-out style of BT3. This game is an opportunity to make things a bit faster paced, with larger, more elaborate environments. Think asteroid obstacles, space station upgrade/save points, and an actual convoy to defend. Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy is a good example. Combine variety (missions like assassination, defense, objective retrieval/delivery, etc.) with customization (not just primary/secondary weapons, but shields/hull, engines, radar, passive effects, etc.). Add new weapons (lasers, intricate spread shots a la Enigmata, chain-lighting, etc) beyond the standard repertoire of BT3 guns, as well as customizable weapon effects (pass-thru, area-effect, damage-over-time, etc.).
Currently you have a 5/5 for concept and visuals/UI, but a 0/5 for effort. Bring some effort to the table, and you'll have the best shooter on Kong.

I think maybe you should like add a breifing before you meet each new species to lay out a little background and info on their fighting style and a basic view on their ships, just to add a little more depth to the game, but other than that a great game 5/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You simply can't make half of game and expect it to get 5. Many great games have gone underrated because of that thinking. And you are not blizzard. You need great game from the start, that will get you 5/5. And you can make sequel anyway. Just a little bit more patience.

I would greatly appreciate an auto-fire key as I play on a laptop and it can't recognize as many keys being pushed as I need.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Am I the only one that thinks the developer is pandering to us in the responses? We should give you undeserved fives because you want to have the money to make a game that's a five? Seriously!? How about put in the work, then we'll give you the five. That's how life works. Make good product, people pay for its worth, not the other way around.

For the future writing - non-intelligent brutes do not make sense in a game with space-combat focus. Space dogfight is firstly nerds fighting nerds in spaceship design. And secondly pilot fighting pilot in who can better utilise his ship. Big, dumb species wouldn't survive two seconds there.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Any game where you hold down the mouse button throughout a whole level should have an autofire option.
It could easily be a toggle feature, so that those who prefer to click may do so..
