too easy imo...all i did to get thru all levels was get a few proteins and eat up the smaller guys when the bigger divided

hey everyone there IS a point to splitting in two.it lets TWO microbes get to a big size and you will eat twice as many enemy microbes with a bit of luck!

I agree with Loid, in that division seems counterproductive to the goal of "Get Bigger: Eat Opponents" goal of the game. Likewise, that the "bite" seems to be a delayed response to being directly over another microbe, making it frusteratingly difficult, and feels like a poor control scheme. Additionally, Action Abilities seems weak and not terribly useful... permenant upgrades (Speed, attack, armor, whathaveyou) would seem like a better game mechanic.
And not to be rude but... First-Stage-Spore-Ripoff-Much? HeroInteractive usually has such seemingly original games... this one dissapointed me :(

@ptdgames: lolz, I love how you are holding ratings ransom until your demands are met. You even did it for the whiteboard tower defense game! I rate you 4 of 5. You can get 5 if all of your demands get met!

As others have said, it's a little tedious. It's rather hard to eat other microbes, even if you're the right size. Also, I haven't seen other microbes try to eat me, even when they were much bigger.
Splitting in two does not seem to be very useful, as others also mentioned.
It would be more fun if there was more point to the action abilities. Perhaps something like weapons, or permanent upgrades for the microbe?

I found it a bit tedious, but otherwise a very creative game. I'd like to see a little more mouse control, especially 1st couple of levels where you're trying to learn the game--there's just too much lag for my taste. Perhaps adding a "learning" level where lag is zero might help to get the feel of the game......

There are quite a few flaws with the game. There's no reason why you would want to split up. The faster you yourself grow up, the easier it will be to eat the other microbes. The only reason you'd want to split, is so that you can cover more ground, prevent enemies eating the orbs. But with a speed boost, you can out maneuver all your enemies. Ergo, splitting is useless. Your spawns do nothing. They have the worst AI.
