For anyone trying for the hard badge, I'm supposing you're either stuck at campaign lvl 4 or 5. Right at start use all slots - Dual Machine Gun placing it at btm most left, Sniper at top most left, Damage Booster at btm right and Orbital Mines filling up the rest of the spots. The idea is to immediately get Sniper to 40+ dmg via booster + upgrades to one shot the armored elephant/shield-balloons. Miners are incredibly useful for those tough little orb-helicopters/quick weak bombers and even the armored elephant. Dual Machine Gun - do not upgrade health .. try to get just +1 dmg upgrade n life would be so much easier (+1 more dmg from booster of 25%or more) but if you die too much at least upgrade the rate of fire abit. Damage booster - put some on health the rest on dmg boost. Miners - +1 no of mines n then the rest of health to shield ur primary n secondary turrets. The rest of the money is spent on repairing all turrets for each subsequent level.

I figured out the problem with the When Kongregate Attacks badge. For the challenge mission, just die with a positive score.

I think it'd be a good idea if you could fire secondary weapon instantly just by pressing it's hotkey, without completely switching to it from your primary weapon. Because it's frustrating switching back and forth to fire a sniper canon or guided missile. Hope developers see this.

Oh wait, I can purchase the extra content for $5 USD.

I also got the pleasant surprise of getting the Badge of the Day When Kongregate Attacks Badge when I died in the challenge. So badge needs to be fixed, but I am happy with the free 15 Points+15 Points for Badge of the Day! As for the game itself, it would be nice if you could view the power, reload rate, etc. of the guns BEFORE you buy them. It would also be nice to know what enemies will be in the next wave, so you can bring out the correct turrets for each wave, instead of dying because you didn't have the right turrets, and you restart the wave. However, the rest of the game is well balanced in terms of difficulty, so 3/5 Stars from me.

Oh ok I can have 4 different cannons on my base, this should be pretty easy, the other three must auto fire? Wait, nothing auto firing and I can only control one at a time, so why are there 4 slots.... maybe I'll unlock auto-firing later on. Nope there's no upgrade for automatic firing. Maybe I can select all the cannons and fire at the same time? Nope. What's the bloody point? This game doesn't even feel done, how is this under spotlight?

This pretty intense. Just one man to arm these cannons? Aren't there other soldiers to help him out? Guess this is a war he'll have to fight alone

I've come up with a strategy that solves the hard one, you get at the beginning 1 dual machine gun, 2 time guns and 1 orbital mine..the orbital u put it in the top..upgrade to the max the time guns, first reload time..and then the freezing time..when u get more money buy another one and do the same thing..int he end all u will need is 3 time guns, 1 dual and 1 orbital...about the dual, upgrade two times so it can inflict more damage per bullet...the rest is easy..just keep changing between the time guns and shooting while the time is frozen =)

I don't get the just die with a positive score thing; it took me 2:20 to beat the mission on my first attempt: just get a dual machine gun in the lower forward slot, a shield gun behind (and set it to protect the machinegun) and two damage buffers; upgrade mg damage (+2) then fire rate (+1) and dmg buffers buff until you have +100%; just keep firing and everything will die.

Suggestion, something to work on would be the cash flow, the money is too sparse at the earlier stages and later on you have more dough than you really know what to do with.

Only guns needed are: Dual Machine Gun, your attacker: level up damage on this one. Heavy Cannon, your tanks: put them up front and level up hp. Sniping Cannon, for killing those flying walls: level up the reload time. Damage Buffer: put your remaining money in these, and level up their damage buff.

You go through all the trouble to tell us a slot count that only changes for hard/insane levels but don't give a level count for each campaign? Also, 4/5 slots but only use 1 gun at a time? This is just a bad design and sucks the fun out of what could have been a great game.

you sould be able to put the guns on auto. so you can shoot at emeny ships and have three other guns shooting at the same time

Well ship with giant shield on the second campaign I guess we're at a stand still you with your lack of guns and me with my single double machine gun and 3 damage boosting towers.

It's a good job that the badge is so easy to get. What a terrible turret defense game. As per the other comments, why have 4 turrets if you can only use one at a time?

At the 1st time.The kongregate challenge is hard though.All of my turret destroyed so fast.Its like fall to the deepest abyss,but an angel comes to save my life and give the free medium badge..... XD

A decent game that is a bit hard in the beginning but once you come up with a strategy that works for you it is not to hard since every mission you beat gives you more starting points to upgrade stuff with. I used Dual machine gun, Decoy drones, and usually one mine layer except on the first level with many little fliers were I used 2. Decoy drones work great but I suggest saving up for the big upgrades first so you can arm them and do more machine gun damage. keep up the good work.

I like how I'm given the BoTD after an epic loss of fail within 15 seconds of playing the Kongregate Attacks Challenge. It made me not want to kill myself for being such a failure =D Yay!

Another strategy I found for the last level is to build 3 of the Radio plasma towers in the #2,3,5 slots while building a decoy drone tower in the top and a time stop tower in the #1 corner. As ShangaZ has done, max out the time stop tower's recharge time first, then work on the freeze time. When appropriate, upgrade health on your plasma towers and timestop. I never invested in damage upgrade for the plasma towers; I maxed out reload times on all three towers and put the rest in health. Prioritize your targets and, with a few retries, you should be able to accomplish the mission.
