p2) Orbital mines and Drones are a BAD IDEA. DON'T DO IT. If you want hilariously easy, go for 4 sniper rifles, max'd cooldown, with everything else in damage. This is the one that works the best. Reason it's not in part one is mostly because i didn't think of it at the time.

Ugh, freakin' hate it when a daily badge brings me back to a game I tried to forget existed... and even worse, I have to actually play it for the daily as I didn't get it the first time (probably because I gave up on it for it's excessive failness). Oh well, will keep slamming my head against this level... maybe I'll get lucky... do so love a game that offers absolutely no leeway on what items you buy and which ones you level up... eventually you run into that one level where no matter what you do, you know you should've done something different 4 levels ago and now you're boned. *sigh*

To get the badge of the day, just buy a double machine gun. Don't even try to do more cuz the turrets don't auto-fire (unless 4 mice and hands?)

Sad Face, never place a shield shielding a shield while that shield is shielding it. I am on the mission with flying elephant helicopters and I lost my gun but have two shield turrets they never die and I cant fight back :{.

A recipe for disaster - dual machine gun (damage-damage-speed in top slot), damage buffer (damage to 50% in bottom right slot), shield gun (hp, target damage buffer, in middle slot), sniper gun (total damage 30 minimum, 40 is better, in back slots) make for a very solid defence.
Machine gun goes quickly to damage 3, and tops at damage 5. Its position is rarely attacked and is highly effective aganist airplanes, blimps and final boss. Sniper 30 is enough to one-shot flying barriers, and 40 is enough to 1-shot elephant flyers. Positioning them in the back keeps them off the harm's way. Shielded buffer is immune to bullets which it is main target of, and shield gun is effective in tanking most that's left.

Wow, it's been a long time since I played this game. Still a decent game even though it was made over 10 years ago. I just start with a Double Machine Gun and a Heavy Cannon, then buy Decoy Drones, and then buy a Damage Buffer. For upgrades, the Double Machine Gun's and Heavy Cannon's damage, get the Decoy Drone so it's drones can shoot followed by more drones per stage, and increase the Damage Buffer's buff. This should allow your machine gun to do 3 damage instead of 1 within a few levels, the drones act as AI help, and the Heavy Cannon can lob shots over enemies with shields.

Dual Machine Gun is awesome. Combine it with Shield Gun to protect yourself from the little bullets. Add some Damage Buffer once you have damage 3 or more (or add two when you have damage 2 or more). In the last level, the gun had 8 damage thx to three buffers, too.

i just used a single machine gun and had a health buff, then you can add whatever other passive things you want. i went with decoys, a secondary gun for a bigger punch for a couple levels then swapped that for a damage buff. only lost on level once and it was the final one of the first campaign, so obviously a boss fight. either it's a good strat or i found the one game on earth i'm naturally amazingly talented at lol!

TO GET THE SECOND BADGE: Select the mission, put the first turret wherever you like, start mission, let yourself get killed, and voila, badge! I learned how to play after i got the badge, actually.

The best defense turned out to be a whopping huge offense. I piled three damage buffers and a shield on a DMG, upgraded everything for damage and the hard campaign suddenly wasn't that hard.

seriously ... take all strategies you've heard of and forget them. Just buy the standart gun and only upgrade dmg. If possible add dmg buffer, health buffer and decoy drones... now learn how to aim. Thats it your done and the hard badge wasn't hard at all ;)

how to beat the kongregate challenge : buy the apocalypse gun, save it for the end when all 3 kong ships come out, and use it =)

I've got a strategy which makes the Kongregate Badge really easy. Buy 2 apocalypse cannons and upgrade reload with both. With the remaining money you can just buy a heavy cannon whose damagu u upgrade to max.
The first few enemys can be destroyed by the cannon. When the screen gets filled with more or bigger enemy use one apocalypse. Kill small enemy with heavy cannon then use other apocalypse when things get messy again. Next time you get under heavy attack the first apocalypse should be ready again. This worked the first time I tried even though I triggert one apocalypse accidentially in the beginning.

Found a bug. After completing waves, sometimes there are bullets frozen on the screen. They stay there until the end of the campaign and are annoying and confusing.

The story-lines are amazing and the graphics didn't automatically change like most games. StormWinds 1 was great, and this is epic

how to do kongregate challenge[really easy!] take 3 radio plasmid guns and 1 damage buffer.increase damage upgrade on all guns.increase rate of fire and put the other 2 points on health(do this for all 3 guns).the damage buffer will now increase the damage of each and every gun by 1,but even if u upgrade buff power its still just 1 dmg.so upgrade its health and put in up front.its pretty tough should be a good shield.now u have 3 fast firing guns each doing 4 damage per shot,all of them fire at once.unleash hell on the K fleet!

why is it that for a medium badge of the day it says you get 15 kongregate points and 17 powerup rewards points, but when you get the badge you only get 15 of each?
