For campaign 4, get: machine gun, shield bot, sniper and damage boost. Put shield on machine gun, upgrade damage boost to 26% rest in health. Upgrade machine gun once on damage then fire rate.
For campaign 5 get: machine gun, shield bot, damage boost and two mines. Upgrade damage on machine gun (no fire rate), later on again. Upgrade damage boost until 50% then rest in health (you will get 5 damage on your machine gun). Upgrade shields with shield bot only, until maxed (level 5).

how to do kongregate challenge[really easy!] take 3 radio plasmid guns and 1 damage buffer.increase damage upgrade on all guns.increase rate of fire and put the other 2 points on health(do this for all 3 guns).the damage buffer will now increase the damage of each and every gun by 1,but even if u upgrade buff power its still just 1 dmg.so upgrade its health and put in up front.its pretty tough should be a good shield.now u have 3 fast firing guns each doing 4 damage per shot,all of them fire at once.unleash hell on the K fleet!

tip for the flak cannon challenge, sell the middle cannon because it has a glitch that makes you unable to fire the other two, you will still be fine.

Lol, the final boss is a joke. I just shot it with the heavy cannon, the cheapest gun in the game, and it went down in like 10 seconds.

For anyone trying for the hard badge, I'm supposing you're either stuck at campaign lvl 4 or 5. Right at start use all slots - Dual Machine Gun placing it at btm most left, Sniper at top most left, Damage Booster at btm right and Orbital Mines filling up the rest of the spots. The idea is to immediately get Sniper to 40+ dmg via booster + upgrades to one shot the armored elephant/shield-balloons. Miners are incredibly useful for those tough little orb-helicopters/quick weak bombers and even the armored elephant. Dual Machine Gun - do not upgrade health .. try to get just +1 dmg upgrade n life would be so much easier (+1 more dmg from booster of 25%or more) but if you die too much at least upgrade the rate of fire abit. Damage booster - put some on health the rest on dmg boost. Miners - +1 no of mines n then the rest of health to shield ur primary n secondary turrets. The rest of the money is spent on repairing all turrets for each subsequent level.

Auto-Fire would be nice.But i find how to get auto.Just hold the turrets especially machine gun type till the nd of the wave.the next wave it become auto byself.just dont click it again...

At the 1st time.The kongregate challenge is hard though.All of my turret destroyed so fast.Its like fall to the deepest abyss,but an angel comes to save my life and give the free medium badge..... XD

Well, I was loving this game up until the boss of the second campaign. Cannot possibly be hurt with the double turret which means I now need to try and take him out with a level 1 guided missile. Absolutely stupid, 1/5.

The best defense turned out to be a whopping huge offense. I piled three damage buffers and a shield on a DMG, upgraded everything for damage and the hard campaign suddenly wasn't that hard.

Mfw a full repair costs as much as a new turret but you can still sell a broken one for 80% of its cost - buy a turret, use it till it breaks, sell it and buy a new one

I find it incredibly annoying that you have to select the shield's target at the beginning of each wave and the Kongregate challenge is easy if you just use an apocalypse cannon.

I don't get the just die with a positive score thing; it took me 2:20 to beat the mission on my first attempt: just get a dual machine gun in the lower forward slot, a shield gun behind (and set it to protect the machinegun) and two damage buffers; upgrade mg damage (+2) then fire rate (+1) and dmg buffers buff until you have +100%; just keep firing and everything will die.

This game has awesome music! Really fits for defending your steampunk fortress from a steampunk armada using steampunk guns.

The story-lines are amazing and the graphics didn't automatically change like most games. StormWinds 1 was great, and this is epic

Dang, cleared cache while doing my 4th campaign... Am I at a disadvantage if I just start on campaign #4, and does it still count towards my total?

@chewietehhamster: Plasma turrets (the blue ones) can all fire at once - but they have a slow rate of fire. One dual MG is probably better.

There should be an option to man multiple turrets. It's a little stupid to have to bounce around the hotkeys for each specific one.

Also, why on earth, do I have to aim the shield gun when the level is already running? That's insanely stupid. Just as annoying as not showing me the hotkey for each tower in between levels. How am I supposed to know which one is assigned which number? Ah yes, I can figure that out while the enemies are already swarming and I am busy aiming my shield.
