Heres an idea, if possible, could you make have a hard (read realistic) mode where smaller flocks are subject to attacks by birds of prey, because in real life, one of the reasons that birds flock is for safety. Birds also flock for speed as the v shape makes them more aerodynamic, so they along with the game speed, should also get faster as the flock get bigger. All of which would be in this mode of course.

Kinda cool when you have a black swan leading and a flock full of swans. By the way, to get the huge golden flock bonus, have a black swan at the top of your pecking order, and have mockingbirds high on the order. You'll need Zeitgeist adaptation. Play story mode, and if you have a black swan at the end, and several copied by mockingbirds, they will keep calling for geese even while the demo ends, giing you more and more golden score.

Great idea on the mechanoreceptors. Helps to make sure one chance plane, or a group of well placed planes, doesn't wipe out your entire flock. I can't wait for Fall!!! (except for the school >.>)

The upgrade system seemed ... bad. A miss-click left you at the front and you had to try and purchase something to determine upgrade points. Furthermore, the items on some birds were 2-3 but on worse (father right on the upgrade scale I assumed was worse) would have more options which seemed fine. Pricing overall seemed out of place. Okay game, kinda ... repetitive. I got through to the end with no upgrades because the attacks were so slow.

Hm, will there be a better way to change your bird leader? I discovered that clicking brings up a red target box, and clicking repeatedly will have the box work it's way through the flock... it's not bad switching leaders when the flock is small, but when you're cycling through 10+ birds, it's takes a little more time and focus (to choose the right one out of all the moving targets). I wasn't changing up the leader for super serious strategic purposes though, so perhaps such a change is unnecessary. Still wanted to share though!

No offense, I love the game and everything but try to include the word "DEMO" in it on the homepage. I saw "Endless Migration 2 DE..." As if the MO doesn't show up but "..." will.

I'd be cool if you could tell how long invincibility lasts. It has happened several times that it ran out while I was in a plane.

@Niharia, Red marker is how you swap the flock leader. Just keep clicking until it gets around whichever bird you want to lead.

i tried to go back to menu after dieing and the game froze up showing me the same thing i saw right before i died but wild birds wings are still flapping so i don't know if this is technically frozen or what... please fix

I would like there to be a way to swap which member of your flock was leading; 'twould make it a lot easier to utilize the abilities that only activate for leaders. Keyboard control would work, as would mouseclick during gameplay. I could see a pair of buttons, one for next (higher) in pecking order and the other for lower in order (left/right click for mouse).
What does the current marker that appears on leftclick do/mean?

I was thinking that there could be rare birds like pterosaurs that could dive and get bonus items for points, or snatch birds out of the way right before they get hit, or eagles could do a special sniper-eye dodge, or they could be dragons that can destroy planes for bonus points...

I'll love to see rare birds in each stage that can only be recruited there. If that happens I want a pterodactyl XD also make a limit of planes on screen coz in the endless city 5-10 planes cross the screen XD

Is this a bug or what? I have a full all sparrow flock and no one cant touch them! XD But every bird that went to them died when nearing the circle! :(

pretty sure that the pecking order resets randomly after each game? anyone seem to be having this problem? i have tested this by putting it into an order and then checking the order after a endless game for a bit.

Max upgrades for Black Swan and Trumpeter Swans. Die at the very beginning, use the Phoenix Black Swan, and just go nuts with collecting an immortal army. Just don't kill your leader (Black Swan.)

I was reading the Kickstarter page on the donation rewards and saw "here in Pittsburgh" in the t-shirt level... Whoa, I didn't realize these guys are local. That's awesome, always good to see positive things coming from here.

My biggest problem is the huge white and blue jetliners. They take up 90% of the height of the screen with their wingspan. I lose half of my flock easily when one of them comes directly from the side.

There is waaay to many planes when the blimps come around >< i always lose my whole flock because i get choked from the blimp cornering me and then tons of planes flying into me :/

I think that the pecking order is not necessary because I end up having a flock of geese and losing other bird's abilities as the order lower order birds get replaced.

the answer to why don't the planes crash into each other: the planes fly about 2 or 3 inches apart of each other and the birds are inside that 2 or 3 inches of space and get killed

I fully upgraded the trachea of the Swan, which made it easier to get swans, obviously. I also fully upgraded the song range in every species. But, when you get to a certain point in Endless City mode, your birds start dropping like flies no matter what you do. When my swans started to die, they spawn more swans and my song range almost instantly kept grabbing them, then the planes kept killing the new swans and spawning more. There was an endless cycle of swan genocide for about a full 45 seconds. It was hilarious and tragic at the same time.

I'd love to see you make a game where the bird strikes crash the airplanes, and are a form of revenge for your fallen avian companions.

Very fun game. I have to say though, I think I found an exploit. If you max out the Black and regular swans and set them as the 2 highest priority birds, you can kill off your flock early, get the black swan pheonix, and as you flowly fill your entire flock with invulnerable regular swans, you essentially have a high point generating golden flock with only 1 bird you need to protect.

i love it but there are way to many planes u can barely ever get a full flock cuz a dum plane comes out of nowhere and kills most your flock but other wise very good love the first one too

@ctugha when a royal albatross passes over water it has a chance to make the entire flock immortal while over water. it does not need to be the leader for this effect to activate.
