Under rating threshold (show) Maintain a full flock for 30 secs... lol... it's more likely I get to marry Heidi Klum... the game is fun, you added quite a lot since your last game (and still more to come!)... but it has the same flaw as before : luck is more important than skill. Still, it's a pretty good game and i'll be sure to try it more once you finish it. 3.5 for now... probably more once it's completed.

Under rating threshold (show) From all the places that popped up during the Ice Age, it seems like these birds live beyond Time and Space. Also... what kinda birds are these that fly through airports. And, my WWII planes don't seem to fire at anything.. especially not one another.

Under rating threshold (show) The game is a high potential and even the demo version, is better then many other games on kongregate i played befor. The "The Endless City" feature could be better. What´s about a way, to unlock scenarios for the endless city mode? If we get to WW2 in the main game, we can play the WW2 part in the endless mode. The collission of the propeller from both helicopters are wrong. Only 1/4 of the propellerwings hurt the flock. This makes it too easy to evade. The balancing is good in the first levels. I hope it gets harder in the later levels. I give the game a 4/5 as it is. And for a demo game, this is much. :)

Thanks for playing and you're right on the mark when you suggest an unlockable survival mode for the final. We'll be creating exactly that for the final game, so as you progress through the story, more environments will become available to appear and repeat in endless mode (and there will even be a sandbox feature where you can choose to turn environments on/off at your discretion).

Under rating threshold (show) Maybe collecting different birds for your flock of misfits grants perks such as, 1 swan = + 1 at handling, 1 House Sparrow = 1 warning sign at a time, Carrier Pigeon = +1 Range of sight. In fact, as your flock grows it would seem only natural that your view window does the same, considering you have more eyes.

Under rating threshold (show) I think perhaps there should be small arrows indicating where a plane is going to enter the screen just before it does, maybe a second or two before but not too much time it makes the game easy. Otherwise I love the 'Your flock' section and how its laid out!

Under rating threshold (show) One way to change the birds would be binding a bird class on a number or a hotkey (which could be changed in the settings?) like canada goose on 1. Then the nearest Canada Goose (if there is one in the flock) would become the leader. For lazy dudes you could make an active priority swap like when over the sea the leader becomes a swan or albatros... As for the gameplay I would like some changes, because the games relys on the invincibility skill to much. In EM1 the balance was good, hope this will be further improved. As far by now, I am addicted D: Good job :D

This is a great idea Saizken! Chris our music guy had a similar thought, and we're definitely considering something like this for the final game. But, we are planning on probably 2 dozen birds when all is said and done, so it will likely be a combination of hotkeys and some sort of favorites system (where you can apply the hotkeys to up to 10 birds in your pecking order and then use the number keys to access them). Once the game is further along it will all start to make more sense.

Under rating threshold (show) As others have said, there seems to be maybe too many aeroplanes ATM that quickly kill your flock (especially the ones the appear from behind you) however, just like the first one, the visuals are very smooth and pleasing and the gameplay is wonderfully frantic and simple at the same time. Excellent work! :)

Under rating threshold (show) Too much on too little space. You have litterally NO chance to dodge 2 Airbusses that fly side by side at you while a third plane makes a swipe from left to right. It feels cluttered and unfair. Art and style is great, but please pause the game when the cursor leaves the Gamewindow - it kinda messes with your controls.3/5 atm.

Under rating threshold (show) If I can make a suggestion: BigWs told about too many planes... But maybe you would just increase the view range? You could pair it with the vision upgrade. And don't make too many bird species! Endless Migration was beautiful and fun because it was simple. Your demo is more feature-packed than most of the "full versions". And one more time: It is wonderful because it is simple, don't make the game overwhelming to the player!

there are upgrades in the "Your Flock" menu. Click a bird to see it's Adaptation Wheel and then go from there. The final game will make sure this is clearer. Also, story mode has time travel if you make it far enough!!! Thanks for taking the time to give feedback it's much appreciated and helps make our games better.

Under rating threshold (show) Seems like it's going to be pretty good. I believe I might have noticed a minor spelling error somewhere in the bird description screens, but I've only noticed one so far and I'm not sure which it was. Before you release the real deal you should check over everything for spelling and grammar. I'm also thinking that the "difficulty curve" is rather strange seeing how many planes there seems to be... I also agree with what Omegnight said. Anyways, I'm really looking forward to this game! Best of luck!

Hey Omegnight! This is a great suggestion. There may be a way of somehow implementing a smart swap based on the Pecking Order. Also, I'm thinking maybe an active-pause aspect where you could do it from pause. Consider it a must-have for the final and thanks for the great feedback!
