pretty sure that the pecking order resets randomly after each game? anyone seem to be having this problem? i have tested this by putting it into an order and then checking the order after a endless game for a bit.

Max upgrades for Black Swan and Trumpeter Swans. Die at the very beginning, use the Phoenix Black Swan, and just go nuts with collecting an immortal army. Just don't kill your leader (Black Swan.)

I was reading the Kickstarter page on the donation rewards and saw "here in Pittsburgh" in the t-shirt level... Whoa, I didn't realize these guys are local. That's awesome, always good to see positive things coming from here.

My biggest problem is the huge white and blue jetliners. They take up 90% of the height of the screen with their wingspan. I lose half of my flock easily when one of them comes directly from the side.

There is waaay to many planes when the blimps come around >< i always lose my whole flock because i get choked from the blimp cornering me and then tons of planes flying into me :/

I think that the pecking order is not necessary because I end up having a flock of geese and losing other bird's abilities as the order lower order birds get replaced.

the answer to why don't the planes crash into each other: the planes fly about 2 or 3 inches apart of each other and the birds are inside that 2 or 3 inches of space and get killed

I fully upgraded the trachea of the Swan, which made it easier to get swans, obviously. I also fully upgraded the song range in every species. But, when you get to a certain point in Endless City mode, your birds start dropping like flies no matter what you do. When my swans started to die, they spawn more swans and my song range almost instantly kept grabbing them, then the planes kept killing the new swans and spawning more. There was an endless cycle of swan genocide for about a full 45 seconds. It was hilarious and tragic at the same time.

I'd love to see you make a game where the bird strikes crash the airplanes, and are a form of revenge for your fallen avian companions.

Very fun game. I have to say though, I think I found an exploit. If you max out the Black and regular swans and set them as the 2 highest priority birds, you can kill off your flock early, get the black swan pheonix, and as you flowly fill your entire flock with invulnerable regular swans, you essentially have a high point generating golden flock with only 1 bird you need to protect.

i love it but there are way to many planes u can barely ever get a full flock cuz a dum plane comes out of nowhere and kills most your flock but other wise very good love the first one too

@ctugha when a royal albatross passes over water it has a chance to make the entire flock immortal while over water. it does not need to be the leader for this effect to activate.

I still find the planes too big... In my opinion they should be smaller or the area in the screen should be bigger. Nice game

When new birds are added to your flock it would be nice if the ones with a higher spot in the order would automatically move in to the front next to the flock leader. An easier to see marker for when youre changing leader would be nice too.

Your flock moves slowly when close to the mouse, and faster when the mouse is far away. Makes tight movements hard. Please make them move at full speed and stop on a dime at the mouse, same as most top-down shooters.

My screen turned gray and i kept getting pionts and birds kept coming but then when i tryed to get out of the game the screen went completly gray and i had to refresh

I loved the first game a lot and I think i will enjoy this one when it is finished. I do however wish there were not as many planes which are both huge and in great numbers. It is easy to lose your whole flock if you get pinned in a few spots just because of 1 or 50 planes. At least give the planes hit points themselves since airplanes have crashed due to birds getting sucked into the engines and so forth. I figure if they are gonna take out my flock, why not return the favor and take out the plane also.

Having three jets on screen at same time is beyond ridiculous. And pretty much unsurvivable unless you happened to be in the exact right place at the right time. Other than that little issue, I'm pretty much in love with this game. The music was definitely my favorite part, this is one of the few games that I won't just mute.

Just about got over the ocean then a plane the size of the screen flew over with no chance of escape, also i feel the birds move a little too slow in relation to the aircraft :s

Changing flock leader is a bit too complicated and difficult when the birds all move with your mouse and the bird that you want to make it as the leader always run away from you. Also, the aircraft are still too big when compare to the screen, which make it almost impossible to dough all the planes.

Pilot: there are birds int he sky sir. Tower: just fly through them. Pilot i tried but they are smart and ran away. Tower then send 20 planes to converge on them. Pilot: but we will crash, besides if they run then who ca.. Tower: I don't care if we could be better off leaving them alone, JUST KILL THEM! In the air: Pilot 2: WHO AUTHORIZED THIS!

Really...this is like a game out of the FAA nightmare. So many planes at one. My birds stood no chance. I give you the bird giant 747!

Swan Song makes the game a bit too easy, between it and mechanoreception you can have a constant stream of birds floating in, even when under a plane. maybe put a cooldown on it so that you don't end up with a constant stream of swans? The black swan could ignore this cooldown, so that it's still a rare and powerful part of the flock.
