hey guys im back! havent been on here in forever due to a crazy work schedule. Im working on part 2!! Im really not sure why the scores got erased, must be something kongregate did to stop cheating? or maybe they changed their api's and i havent updated mine. anyway im back at it! i love all the comments, your suggestions and critiques are more than welcome. remember this was my first game ever so its definitely lacking in the coding department.

Rocket launcher at day 27! I missed a buck kill on day 18 too.. coulda had the damn launcher on day 26.

oh, heres a shooting tip for new hunters... youll mostly get head shots if you aim a little ahead of the deer, try to imaginge the gun sight as a half-circle, anything in that circle gets hit, i regularly get multiple head shots with single shots, even when there walking.. so, remember, lead em a bit! and be patient...

finally! a good score! 80,000 plus.. yayyyyy thanks go to moonstone for the final tip i needed, up till then i was averaging 40,000 a game, without the trick, now i never do less than 50,000.. now if i can just get to 100,000... oh and i somehow passed hobie, never ever thought that would happen, and im sure its not for long.. hope all the regulars are well... thanks guys..

You get extra points for a headshot? Have you ever actually shot a deer in the head? I have. It is a huge mess. I'll never do it again.

to huntthebuck, you got to spend mony if you want to get more points,buy the cammo first,then doe scent ,then buy super shells, you will find you can get more points.

Actually the harvesting of does is is the most common and practical way of controlling deer populations that have lost most of their natural habitat due to human encroachment and urban sprawl. With a stressed herd, starvation and inbreeding [something you seem to be very familiar with] are kept to a minimum to ensure healthy, quality deer. The only BS I see here, is you pretending to know what you're talking about. Not unless spending your leisure game playing time shooting other human beings is more realistic to schmucks like yourself. So lighten up, it's only a game. One that I happen to enjoy!

We don't get any twisters down here. Only see them on the news and they look scary. As i said, no one will ever catch up to you hobie1034. I'm trying to get up to 2 million this year. Will try anyways. :)

Deerheard I know what you mean, what it is doing is logging you out while you are playing. I contacted them, ever since they did their work this game is not playing right.

game 3 today,Does 409, Bucks 336, Big Bucks 47,Total 87,150, but not showing on scores showing,only shows 18 on does.Game is really ticking me off ,about ready to dump this one. nobody seems to want fix the problem, almost 2 weeks now, and they don't even get back in touch.

deerheard.. the comment below is my comment, I thought I was on my game my daghter never changed it back to me. got me a new AR15 and have been playing with it a lot, and teaching my daugter how to shoot it, the kid does pretty good. she does better with the 22 8 out of 10 in the bullseye at 50yds.

ok i wasnt getting a response from kongregate on the new scores api, so i switched it back to the old scores api and fixed the days. i also added a new high score for total deer kills :)

Nice to hear you are getting out more and with a AR15 no less. My 70 plus years is making a hermit out of me. I try to play 3 seasons every day and earn some badges. Your daughter is a chip off the block and could leave me in the dust every day if she wanted. Happy new years to you and her hobie1034.

deerheard do you play this on IE or Firefox?, I found it works better on firefox.
IE I was always losing my connection, and no score was showing.

well deerheard you are not doing to bad your self I retired new years eve, and back in june 2010 I had a major heart attack, they revived me and rushed me to Sanford Hospital Here in Florida for surgery 3 days before I was able to get the triple by-pass, and now my ribs are always popping out of place so I figured it was time to quit working. Good luck and keep up the good shooting....

I take my hat off to you hobie1034 for that all time record which could stand forever. I picked 250,000 from the top of my head and tryed to reach it between my fishing trips etc: I'm 68 years old also. i found myself playing for 4 to six hours at a time on many days, only to find i was not signed in :). I love this game and played for months before finding this wonderfull site. My body is still sore. lol. Best of luck to all.
