very nice game i have to say tho the hardest part of the later levels is pure reaction time and starting out. what helps a lot with this is rain dance. But you have to keep rain dance at low levels maybe 0 or 1 at most so you can have enough mana to build mages and soldiers. I never needed any other classes besides soldiers to paladins and mages to fire mages everything else was not needed at all to even touch. fireball spell is decent but raindance is way stronger really or at lest much more useful for starting levels to help build towers. the difficulty really spikes hard due to needing fast reaction time and a little bit of luck with mana potion drops. Overall I give a 4/5. Would be neat to see this kind of concept developed more in other ways.

Needs a pause button that allows you to upgrade your units. Nearly impossible to upgrade in the heat of battle after you start using three soldiers.

Needs a larger field. Memory leak is annoying, even at regular speed. Maybe a shortcut key to collect all mana vials?

what I find a bit frustrating is that in order to increase skill you also greatly increase the cost (mana) of units at beginning of battle. This really handcuffs you when trying to set units during the early onslaught. It would be nice to be able to increase the skill level but also have option of buying the cheap unit at beginning and increase through upgrades during battle.

hwank, if you're still reading these, please implement X100000 speed button (not X1, X2, or X3 ...they make no difference) & fund some achievements! great game & cute animation. 5/5

OK game could be better though the monster things should have less HP or the sword guys should do more damage and cost less manna or what ever it's called the cost of everything is way too much and you should be able to buy a tower for your castle thingy and the track should be longer too that way you could kill the monsters or what ever they are faster

Use the archers for the last level!...and keep constructing barracks without any units in them, the boss will keep breaking them...

I am having trouble on stage 6. I get overrun before I can upgrade units sufficiently. I put all 15 stars into staff. Help!!!

Nice game. Fire mage + barbarian is great combo beating every levels.
The little hint here is maximum the staff first then fire mage then barbarian.
At level 10, one will need archer to beat a warlock on the roof.

1. upgrading units is pointless it increases their mana cost, so just upgrade the staff 2. on level 5 a huge army rushes you at the start which is really stupid

Was any thought put into the title of this game? (I don't think it features any dragging of nards, mine or otherwise.)

ok, this game is great... BUT... 1) there needs to be a way to build/upgrade faster. Easy version: hotkeys. 1234 for building stuff, u for upgrading. 2) selecting one of 6 units that charge is just frustrating. frustrating games are no good. maybe add icons for your fighters at the bottom? 3) minor issue: the level page should open where you were last time, so i dont need to scroll every time.
otherwise great, 4/5

the balance of the game suffers from several key factors: the ratio between price and evolution, the difference in pre leveled units and the lack of non-leveling-healing, the inability to keep the upgrade box open. What really hurt the last quarter of the game is the inablility to bring paladins straight in. Why go through the point of upgrading them when you have rushes that make in-game promotions moot? Try allowing the paladin, once upgraded, to be immediately availabel in game, lower the upgrade prices or increase the damage modifiers, include a healing/regen factor, and balance the mage/bowmen damage difference to be used as intended. Otherwise a strong 4, IF we totally disregard the aformentioned lag. LLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!

I don't care how slow the game runs the playing system's absolute hell. You have to manually click units you wanna update who're either running around like insane, headless chickens or in the unit boxes where if they're on the ground floor become screened by ground units and almost impossible to access. Not to mention the fact that by the time you get to the upper levels the enemy speed increases to the point that it all becomes a rather annoying game of 'who has the best reflexes' in which I happen to rank above denatured proteins but below domesticated livestock which is why I tend to play tower defense games rather than action or shooter games, tags I'd find more fitting for this game despite its tower defense spirit. Summary: I find the lag problems minimal when compared to the inherent flaws in the gameplay. Please change the tags to reflect necessary higher motor functions or change the gameplay. I just want a little truth in advertising if only on Kong tags...

I've been at the lvl 10 (first boss i think) ... i have all slots filled with mages. Been waiting and waiting for almost on 30minutes now for something else to happen than boss sending waves of easy enemies... Cant take it anymore. Kinda nice game, way too boring at this point to be fun. 2/5

the barracks cannot be selected because of soldiers standing there? Well... damn...
I like the units, but, the upgrades are pointless besides to the staff and spells, as you have more initial MP and spell regen... perhaps when you get to the water mage, berserker and elf, but, initially just spam out on the staff, spells did nothing for me.

I know I'm not the only one to say this, but even at max speed the game is so slow as to be nearly unplayable. Add to that the difficulty of clicking the unit you want to upgrade, having to reselect the same unit every time you want to upgrade it, and the lack of hotkeys, and an otherwise promising game drops down to a 2/5 for me. There's lots of potential here that could make a good sequel, though.
