So What if the dead midget in the cave was another fithling scientist, and the reason he's holding a drill is because he thought it would protect him just like the other one does. Oh god he's doomed. O_O

"You show the barrel to the pumpkin, he agrees it is a barrel." I honestly don't mind spending extra time making sure my pumpkin sees everything i do xD

Wow-- damn. I was a bit surprised by the brown thing. LOL. My left eye is hurting so that's probably why I wasn't as surprised as I would have been if my left eye was fine. The voices of the "children" though, DID, creeped me out. It reminded me of the children singing in the movie "A nightmare in Elm Street" where they were singing about Freddy Krueger and him coming for you.. Great game though! Makes me think-- some of the puzzles were pretty hard but I guess it was worth it. The top comments gave me some hints. Thanks top commenters! Haha~
WAIT. WAIIIIIIT.
Okay. The brown creature thing DID make me jump away from my laptop. Hah! Nice one. I applaud you for your creative scare.
Still 5 out of 5, bro. Hahaha-- That brown thing sure seems to follow me a lot. STALKER-- :u
Nah. Thanks for making this brilliant game. It frustrated me at first but made me more happy when I finished.

Seriously that popping brown demon ruined most of exploration part. I still wanted to end this game because story is interesting, but i did it as fast I can. I feel that great game was spoiled by that creepy little thing. I really hope i could get my revenge on it in next installment! Nevertheless one of my favorite series. Good work !!!

For those wondering about the meaning of the riddle/poem its the key to the tree puzzle: The fifth line ('what tree fed') is the clue to what the poem is for (getting an item from the tree). Lines 1,2, and 4 in order give the codes for the three parts of the tree code, describing the number and orientation of symbols. 'stood' = vertical line, 'hollow' = O, 'dead' = horizontal line. The third line im not totally sure what it means, I took 'had best fled!' as a clue to disregard that line as describing part of the code. Otherwise its possible the 'Or' in line 4 implies there are multiple solutions and line 3 somehow describes one, but only one symbol in the third ring opens the tree when the symbols form line 1 and 2 are set right, so i dont know.

It bugs me if i manage to solve a puzzle without knowing why! so for those of you still struggling or wanting to know why things are correct here you are: obviously SPOILERS the tree puzzle is tied to the riddle the scientist tells you. think of the markings on the tree as stick men and then act out the riddle. In the cave the first 'slider' you come to simply tells you what each picture means as a number so you know which tube you are filling at the door on the next screen (this was a little confusing as the number dice correlates to the picture to the left of the arrows, not as i stupidly assumed the one under the arrows, DUH) however you don't really need to know this apart from cat = 1 and then after that it is sequential. To find the liquid levels for the door you need to look at the cave painting in the next screen, the levels are painted at the bottom!

I normally scream out when something jumps at me but this time scalp just shivers. Very well done to subtly freak me out

BUG: the music doesn't repeat, so I ended up playing w/o music once the track finished. I'd appreciate it if you fixed this :)

The imp was horrifically haunting. It wasn't ...too cheap. It was more justified than cheap; but always scary. It made me keep on my toes, but not become paranoid.
I can see how it would be scary for others, though. :C Itpoppedupattheendtoo!
Yeah, in the next game I plan to explain everything about him and hopefully people will better understand why I put him in the game like that. I didn't intend him to startle players so much as to just creep them out and make them feel constantly watched.

Oh, my, I can't believe it's the third part! I'm so,so happy, you made my day... no, wait, my whole week! Thanks! And it took me 2 games to realize the blondie was actually a boy... now that makes way more sense! 5/5 faved and, well... I guess I'll be up all night finishing it...

Great game, the only questions I have are for the flute and coin. I got the part where you put the coin in one of the houses, but is there a certain house for it. I have no idea about the flute.
The coin is an easter egg, and any house will do. It is a reference to one of my old games. The flute is actually for the next game in the series, so for now it's just a toy.

I was fine with the game until the cave part. That freakin jump-ghost-scare-thing must've followed me around afterward, and he gave me heart attacks every time he popped out ._.

I always imagine the fenrir acts like mr.bean with his teddy bear everytime he shows pumpkin something. He really like playing around with his little pumpkin friend, or it is just me. Love almost every descriptions, 5/5 for this

LOL i opened the tree by rage clicking randomly on the circles :D:D:D the chance for that is (1/13)³=0,046% :D You have to make harder puzzles Hyptosis ;)

The first time the ghost appeared, I was away from the computer and the computer went into sleep mode. When I got it to wake up, well . . . I think I crapped myself :(
Besides for that, it's an EXCELLENT game.

Nice game if a little eerie, I got as far as the cave through perserverence, and gave up as there really lacks any hints on what your suppose to do. Having played alot of adventure games,
My advice to the dev is take note of games like broken sword and grim fandango where if a player gets stuck theres usually somekind of clue from your character, npc or item combinations your using. I realise you where making it so people had to explore, but exploring can become painfull without the occasional hint.

"The pumpkin thinks he's dead Jim." I love all the pumpkin jokes in the hood series! It's little things like these that make great games amazing!

A little note, place of power means that little wooden thingy with no description not the obvious stone with the glowy electrical current

Deliciously creepy, and tough enough to make me think without being too frustrating. Gotta say, I'm intrigued by the blend of mechanics and magic in this world; both seem to be accepted and used. *sigh* "To be continued" are three of the most disappointing words in the English language! Please don't keep us waiting too long for part 4!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It feels shorter than the others, and there doesn't seem to be as much to click on. Also, not having a continue is a downer, even if it is shorter.
