I really enjoyed this series. Great conversations, great descriptions...honest, this series is something I would use to introduce someone to the point and click game genre. It's witty, funny, and has an art style of its own.
Really, the only criticism I could give this entire series is the ending. It seems...I don't know...short? A tad anti-climactic? After all of the build up to fighting this thing and saving the girl, she only one line while the demon got killed with one slash of a sword. Don't get me wrong, this series is great! But the ending just left me wanting more. This doesn't really...feel like the conclusion. It feels more like a branch into the girl's story. Like the demon isn't really dead and it will return once more for the girl. Long story short: The battle was won, not the war.
Besides that ONE thing? Solid series that I would and will gladly recommend. Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing what you put out next.

For a fervent admirer and player of your games, i'm a little appalled at myself for having not noticed the fourth chapter had been released for... what is it, four months and 13 days now? However, my anger dissipated as I began to play. It's such a marvelously crafted game, you know, with mysterious and sometimes funny interactions and wonderfully constructed puzzles that I couldn't help but smile as I went along. Although, I am a bit bummed that the ending was so sudden. With so much effort put into this beautiful series, i'm a little put out that it has ended in such a way that's just so abrupt, leaving so much to question.

Apparently I'm the only person who can't figure this game out? I've tried clicking everywhere, I've used every item on everything, I've talked to everyone, and nothing is happening :( I loved the first three games, but I just don't know what to do.

So I've played all the previous games apparently, but it's been a long time and I don't really remember the story. It'd be nice to have a recap of the events so far in the series at the beginning, because now I feel like I have to go back and replay everything.

I thought I had to fight against the deamon in the end... twas a little short... The ending scenes as well... But I really enjoyed your Hood Episodes at all. I had fun playing and exploring. And I find it's all lovely drawn. So, thank you! :)

I'm a gamer since childhood. From 3 years age I play all sorts of games nearly every day - from turn-based strategies to action games, I always loved adventure games the most. And while these series are quite short... I must say they are a true masterpiece, a relic amongst flash games and comparable with the old classic LucasArts adventures, were they a bit longer (and, obviously, harder, and sometimes at least a bit more logical). You, sir, make yet another one dedicated gamer happy seeing that flash games might truly hold a future for less-mainstream genres and games.
Well, enough slobbering... continue doing a good work to make us happy. Thank you from heart.

I've really enjoyed the gameplay and the entire series. Storyline. All that.
The only thing that bugged me is the ending. I would have liked a little more of them getting out of the place. Maybe the Hunter getting judged by that other demon about whether you were honest or not during gameplay.
But mostly I just wanted to see them get out of the place. (I also wouldn't be opposed to a sequel series with the Hunter teaching the girl to be a Hunter :U or her adventures )

I really, REALLY want to see more of this universe, whether or not you stick with Kingdom of Liars. I love how you have an expansive and interesting backstory to all your races and characters. I can't get enough of your games. MOAR.

I don't get it. Why is everyone whining about the ending being too short? Did they not read what the NPCs were saying or something? He's MORE than done his job, this series is finished. He now has a large task of capturing fiends, which would be a different story than finding and rescuing miss Red Hood. AKA new series material. And before some thicky says "but what about escaping the spirit world?" Recall that you made three bullets, and the runeseeker only used one. Honestly people, it's a good end. More is not always better. Recall what happened when people wanted 'more', so to speak, of the silent protagonists Link and Samus. Both of those had humongous screwups of additions (voicing). Sometimes concise is best.
Would I have liked more, just as much as the rest of you? Hell yes. But I recognize that if he wants to end it here, it means he has much more awesome things he would rather be doing than filling out what's already a satisfactory ending.

Great game, Hyptosis, as usual. :) I really love your style, how using an item on the wrong object gives a humorous description as a result, and the artwork and story are just so lovely. :) I can't wait for more from you, and I really hope there's a sequel, now that the Hunter has some fiends to clean up. Keep up the great work!

I saw this game 1 hour ago... realized I never played the previous ones... Played them... then came here and beat this... I loved every second of it! the story line, the pumpkin, the use of puzzles and objects, just everything (the music especially!!!) I would love to see many more games by you! I'm planning on playing the other games you've made... very soon... lol

Been following the series, and really fell in love with the whole aptmosphere you created. Keep up the awesome work. Would love to see the hunter again.
