Is there a pause in the game somewhere?
Man it's irritating when in the middle of the fight and I need to attend to something come back see the party dead...

Played through against the elite dudes like Sadat etc, and they don't actually seem to take turns... I just grind them down for round upon round with no response.

over all a pretty nice game. one suggestion tho perhaps you could put hot keys in during battles? like s to activate skills menu and then skills listed 1-9 or however many you have, and same for items. and just use shift or something for attack. its just on a laptop with a touch pad it gets annoying on the fingers. also the random battles are a little frequent. on some old school rpgs like goden sun i believe it was you could turn up or down the random encounters depending if you wanted xp faster. i think it would be a nice addition as i have often found random battles to be far to frequent. + if you agree

Got to the first house that wasn't mine (in goblin area) went inside, opened menu, closed menu...
Now I can't move or open/close menu. Game glitched. :(

Well, I played this game for 10 min and I don't really like it...First, you don't get to see health, you fight everywhere..the damage for each character is just stupid...I give it a 3/5 since the graphic is good.

I can be pretty picky but I am honestly shocked this game has as few plays and as low a score as it does. It does have its problems but I've seen far worse games on here do better.

Hyptosis - This game isn't a mess and you are a pretty good coder. It's a fun game, it's big, it has story line and it doesn't lose save files - great work!

Superb graphics with an impressive number of special abilities per character. This one is a very nice turn-based RPG indeed, despite the bugs.

I got 'Nan' Rooks...not sure how, just started the game and it was like that. I stocked up on all the potions at least. Lol

Comment part 1: Game has potential: Really nice graphics, a workable story, and a lot of well developed systems. However, it is also riddled with annoying points. Lots of random battles, and lots of unneccessary clicking. In battles, you constantly have to wait for the actions bar to come up from the bottom of the screen before you can use it, which means battles take a lot longer than they could. I would make it come up almost instantly after the player chooses an action, so the player can plot his next action while the previous character is doing his attack.
I like talking with/to the people who play my game. I'm not a company, I'm a person. I also didn't say I "wasn't good", I said I still had a lot to learn.

I picked up a bow and it didnt show up in the bow girl's thing. I picked up a shield and it didn't show up anywhere. The only item I ever saw was one piece of body armor and that disappeared at some point.

Just noticed a little annoying bug. I had unlocked the map locations up until you fight Sadat, and by this point I was out of potions so before I fought the boss, I teleported back and was going to farm cash in the ruins. After I farmed them for a while, I noticed that the map had reset all the way back to the point I was at the ruins, all of my locations were gone..so I had no way to get back and fight the boss aside from re-doing the game.

Too much lag. Horrible control. I personally like the older graphics, but it should at least have up-to-date control settings..
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I have little to no control. I have to occasionally change my control settings from awsd to the arrows or my character will move on it's own.

Great game, but it tends to have a tiny slowdown every now and then (in battles). Not everyone might notice it, but it's a tiny bit frustrating.

take 2 steps..fight... take 2 steps...fight again... take 2 steps...fight....zzzzzzzzz. hated final fantasy for this very reason, and now i hate this game too.

Found a bug: if it is an ally's turn and their HP is reduced to zero while you are selecting an attack, then you cannot attack for the rest of the battle with any characters (which equals an automatic defeat.)

It was a pretty good game, but kind of short. What made me sad was the fact that there wasn't an inn or something to heal up after all the fighting. Fjor's freeze skill is OP. It helped a lot during the last battles.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The Freeze skill, that Fjor has, freezes the enemy for the whole battle so for the last hardest enemies I just freezed them and punched them to death, and they didn't attack at all ;)
Besides that the game is great :)

A very enjoyable game overall, promising for the future. Here's what could be improved: 1. the interface. The equipment system is not intuitive at all. Also, it's not easy to determine the enemy's weakness: a more visible description of what element is a given skill or maybe ditching the scan could be more profitable. 2. Except for heal spells, and a stun here or there, the spells overall were'nt that useful. That coupled with the fact that you rely only on mana potions to heal, means that you're really not gonna use a wide variety of spells at all. (ae) Buffs? Debuffs? Maybe conjure? Poison? 3. The difficulty curve is always uneasy to balance, but overall the game almost never felt really challenging. Not too easy, but not hard enough imo. That being said, I played for a few hours so you did a really good job, kudos to you, I hope you make more games. Also, minor glitch found: if you teleport home while being in a cave, you will remain in darkness forever (not cool ^^).

I really like this game, the art style and flow are good, and the environments are well-made! My only complaint is that I don't really like how the music changes to happy so abruptly once you defeat your foes. Maybe it could be less sudden, or keep the battle music? I don't know.
