an important note: Only one Relic can be active at any time, and they must be switched on and off(via mouse-click). Both the health and mana regen items are constant however, so activate what you need and wait in place and you will always be fully charged, if you have the patience.

Was Going Smoothly Up Until It Wasnt. Started Warping Back And Forth Between 2 Maps, Waited 20 Minutes, Still Doing It. Refreshed The Page And Reloaded My Game, Still Doing It. Not Going To Start All Over. 3 Outta 5

Hmm, once you clear an area boss, ALL of the monsters from that area and before give the same exp. For example, after taking out the top-hat goblin, the little spiders from the first forest gave 1300 exp each. Much better than grinding on golems and dark mages :)
Game's pretty cool, having different classes would be much appreciated though, and the stats need some balancing - as it's been said, DEX plays a far too important role, considering that spells can miss, and the mana regen is non-existant unless you're using dark stone, and even then it's 1 mana per 3 seconds, making a wizard build impossible (INT/VIT).

Interesting game, certainly a lot of effort has been put into the writing, but unfortunately in the zeal to make us go through the full story, the game is incredibly linear.

To all those wondering how to complete the first quest : simply find the shiny sword and report to dwarf. The sword is in the plains where the dwarf is.

I love the game, but the evil wizard is really hard to beat. you have to repeat other battles dozens of time to gain enough experience.

For a text based game, pretty nice.
However I was expecting more customization and variety in my characters image with a 'set' upgrade for armor/weapons.

I hope I am not asking to much but I saw a few times where it could branch off into allot of different stories for example when you find the dagger and give it to the dwarf maybe there should be a option where you give the dagger to the goblin things or keep it for yourself

OK game, could be better: 1) Linear maps with nothing in them but flavor text have to go. Text adventures had a lot of descriptions in them because CLUES were hidden there. In your game, they're just fluff, and fluff is wasted effort. 2) The shadow stone is poorly coded. Either disable mana regeneration outside of combat or refill the mana bar completely upon victory. Otherwise I can just wait for it to refill between combats. 3) The chalice of Dorothy was walking a fine line, but the Pixie in the strange land map is definitely breaking the terms of service of this site. Just saying. 4) only 'heal' is useful as a skill, the rest does pathetic damage. 5) 'rare' monsters serve no purpose. Use them like the giant undead owlbear to block further progress until beaten instead. 6) Defense is a dominant strategy, but it's a boring one Add a fast-forward button for combats, too. 7) Encounters give XP as a function of player level, not monster diffculty. This encourages grinding, which is BAD.

Its a good game, but its not friendly with people who are new with Text RPG's, most people (including me) can't beat the first quest, and some people can't even find their way out of the first city!

After I talk to Fae, what do I do/where do I go? I've traveled to the Sevrus Ruins and to the place I fought the spider, I can't find what I have to do.

Unlimited skill points!
When you lvl up press plus sign near any attribute several times really fast. Then the game lags a little and skill points become negative. From that point on you can add as many points to whatever attribute.
P.S. new levels will decrease that negative number

At 50 dex, you are completely untouchable. If you put all your points into dex, you'll reach 50 dex at level 16. This can be easily reached by level grinding near the beginning.

Tip: Put all points into dexterity. At 50+ dex I wasn't even hit by the dust dragon and could farm it...no need for armor as well, so get all weapons sooner.

Epic Firefly quote. 'Dear Diary. Today I was a pompous ass and my sister was crazy. Today we were kidnapped by hill folk, never to be seen again. It was the best day ever.' Also nice game, 3/5, although I don't really like moving around the towns like how it is, maybe just a selection screen instead of the up or down, etc. etc.

Terry Pratchett, Firefly, Dune... 5 stars for the references alone, man. The game's good, too - the interface is intuitive, the art is great, and the writing is infinitely better than I've come to expect from most such games. Well done.

It seems like other people are having this trouble too, but I dont know what to do for the first quest, i got it from the dwarf but then i go up to the hoglins and then talk to them but there are no options other than to see that they are digging really, then i went to talk back to the dwarf and ursula but they just nod at me. Any help please?
