After several more tries, with both the warrior/mage class, i can seem to make it past round 3-4 without heal. So i implement the idea of starting with a spell of your choice, or, certain spells are set to certain floors, is there any other damaging spell than fireball??? i dislike having to wait for it to recharge when a mage should have more than 1 choice of damaging spell instead of just making a mirror image, sleeping, ect to wait for fireball to recharge. Thanks, its a game with good potential, but few things still need to be worked out. also, just made it to floor 5 with a staff, you should only be able to get so many daggers/staves ;)

Playing a warrior, clear floors 1 & 2, maxed XP for those floors and I move on to 3. I get 1 hit from full HP from a monster on the floor I'm SUPPOSED to be on. Had good drop distribution, but wth? Game has promise, but promise is not the same as delivery.

I love the game but the bugs are killer. The spell bug has already been mentioned but I am having deadly slowdown. The game will randomly slow to somewhere around moving 1 block in five seconds. This is alright after I clear a room but whenever a monster is around I get swarmed. It seems like its more the game thinks I'm randomly skipping turns. Overall great idea of a game but ...

the game is good and all but i dont like it choosing the equipment that IT thinks is best i would like to at least see what im picking up >.<

Couple bugs I've found. I can't replace spells. Had five active, found another one. Dragged one off of my active spells to inventory, no problem. Now there is an empty spell slot. Can't use it. Clicking a spell in inventory doesn't move it to the slot. Dragging a spell from inventory doesn't work. Nothing seems to work.
Also, spell regeneration is extremely inconsistent. Sometimes it takes a long time for fireball to regenerate, up to 12 turns. Sometimes it regenerates in 5 moves. No consistency at all, doesn't appear to be any pattern whatsoever to this. Kind of frustrating.
All in all, pretty good, but there are certainly some issues to iron out. 4/5

There is a pretty terrible bug where a spell is stuck invisible on the actionbar-list-thingy on the right after I moved it into my inventory.. My Reveal Map spell is stuck on the top left part of the screen randomly, it's not in my inventory or action bar but I can still use it if I press 5...

Started going good and then some of my spells got stuck in the middle of the screen and became unchangeable and quite annoying.

It's been mentioned, but my inventory got bugged. I was playing as a wizard, and two of my spell slots became unusable because they appeared to be empty cells, but were in fact filled with spells I had destroyed. Perhaps this would be fixed if you made items switch places when you dragged an item to a non-empty cell?

I found the mage the easiest class, especially once you find the shadow walk spell (The spell lasts a little longer than the recharge time), a second fireball spell, a sleep spell, and a charm spell. So, I can stand at distance, shot two fireballs, use charm if their are multiple enemies (Monsters under your charm spell can't be attacked until they are no longer charmed), use sleep if they start to outrun me, and disappear if they get to close or if I need to recharge the rest of my spells. I only found the health potions useful, and didn't touch the rest.
This was my second try (The first was a warrior, whom died of meeting a second succubus)
Just throwing this out there.

Both the demo and the full version have issues with the inventory stacking several unrelated items (such as spells and weapons) in the same inventory slot, with some disappearing and reappearing at random.

Can you atleast make it so it doesn't swap my stuff auto or can you put it in my inventory? i had double bladed katana then a wep had better defence (katana -2 def) so it trashed it and then i was mad.

Fun game, but moving spells around is completely broken and unpredictable. Makes it really unfun to play as the sorcerer.

What can I say. I loved this game, up until the point where 75% of the time, when I use a skill/spell it activates one of my random skills for no reason instead of the one I want to use. Seriously am I the only one to experience this game-breaking bug?

Oh yea, also something to do with the gold, I mean I got 61 gold and have no idea what im suppose to do with it. I went through the entire 1st 5 floors looking for stuff but didn't see a merchant or w/e for me to use the gold.

Very frustrating to carefully walk through the whole game and then get pwned by the minotaur despite having all the spells and many potions with some awesome equipment.

The heal spell shouldn't have been altered to recharge by xp instead of time. It wasn't overpowered before; it was necessary. As underpowered as it is now, running out of red potions is a death sentence.

bugs, auto-selling, and imbalance (why are monsters one-hit killing me on the third level as a warrior?) ruin what could be an excellent little dungeon crawler.

It is a roguelike at it's MOST basic level; but that certainly doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable. As a fellow roguelike developer, I must say, this is a good job. There are quite a few details that are well worked out; example, the automatic equip system. Most roguelikes would give you tons of items and you work out which one you use yourself, but this one takes the automatic better item. Normally that would be bad game mechanics, but the switch system here is pretty damn clever.

I wish this game was updated... I bought it a while ago, but my harddrive crashed and I can't bring myself to buy it again if it hasn't been updated since. It got to the point where I beat the game every single time I played

just polymorph the boss in a bandits without expecting it to be the last big guy of the labyrinth..good surprise this game though

bah! got a second fire ball as a mage on the very last floor, only was able to roflpwn 2 enemies before i beat the game :(

Theif is the only class usable past floor 6 or so. And only because i got 2x shadow walk. At floor 9-10 with minotaurs and strong warewolves they 2shot you... And its random if they counterattack or not. Punishingly hard. Charm, shadowwalk and teleport is a must to escape. Warrior is the most useless one. Random hit/damage makes it impossible.
Decent game. Room for lots of improvements and balancing.

I want to echo b4url8 comment... What ARE coins for? I'm not even trying to be funny, I genuinely want to know what coins are for in this game. Do you ever get to a stage where you can buy stuff? So far I haven't seen anything like that...

IF YOU WANT TO SWAP SPELLS what you need to do is remove the spell you don't want, destroy it, and then put the new one in its place. If you just try to swap without destroying the old one it causes major glitches.
+ THIS IF IT HELPS.

So i fully explore the first 2 floors and get all the best equipment from them, then a Black Widow stuns me the moment it appears and 1 shots me. How bloody overpowered?

game was having an issue where I couldn't tell where I was part of the time. Possibly something that would need to be addressed

Currently floor 6 with thief (or was it rogue? i forget) with full hp and5 health potions. destroying monsters like a badass boss.

First of all, if you're a mage and you get a second fireball, you pretty much have the game made provided you play smart. Secondly, I'm pretty sure if you get 100 coins you get an extra life (to whoever was curious).
