After several more tries, with both the warrior/mage class, i can seem to make it past round 3-4 without heal. So i implement the idea of starting with a spell of your choice, or, certain spells are set to certain floors, is there any other damaging spell than fireball??? i dislike having to wait for it to recharge when a mage should have more than 1 choice of damaging spell instead of just making a mirror image, sleeping, ect to wait for fireball to recharge. Thanks, its a game with good potential, but few things still need to be worked out. also, just made it to floor 5 with a staff, you should only be able to get so many daggers/staves ;)

Spell bug is annoying as hell... Winning combo: Mage - Fireball, charm, heal, invisibility, haste. This works for ANY situation. Fireball melee champs from afar, whenever there is more than 1 mob, charm the strongest one and let it kill everything else. If there is a strong caster type, invis and then backstab for massive damage, fireball if it doesn't die. Always keep haste up 100% of the time and get as much +speed gear as possible. Heal any time you get hit by anything (stupid elementals) and it's gg. In the end of the game I got AT LEAST 2 turns on ANY mob, including the minotaurs at the end, which with haste up I actually got 3 turns to anything, just 2 turns was when haste wore off. I literally couldn't be hit by anything that wasn't ranged (stupid elementals). Game was a bit easy once I had the perfect setup.

Playing a warrior, clear floors 1 & 2, maxed XP for those floors and I move on to 3. I get 1 hit from full HP from a monster on the floor I'm SUPPOSED to be on. Had good drop distribution, but wth? Game has promise, but promise is not the same as delivery.

I love the game but the bugs are killer. The spell bug has already been mentioned but I am having deadly slowdown. The game will randomly slow to somewhere around moving 1 block in five seconds. This is alright after I clear a room but whenever a monster is around I get swarmed. It seems like its more the game thinks I'm randomly skipping turns. Overall great idea of a game but ...

The game was great, i played as a warrior/mage several times, didnt have too much trouble with the spells though although, i dont think i lasted too long each run. should fix the whole combat thing, no matter the class i chose, i could kill 1 monster with ease. then the next would kill me in 2 hits and im like, what the hell just happened? so i go again, doing good, then bam! monster from previous levels just completely obliterates me. This game has great potential, i would personally recommend giving it achievements/trophies

Had to comment on this because of this one bug... So I accidentally died while fighting a spell casting monster (think it was a chaos elemental) because as I was trying to run away, it kept blasting me with spells no matter how far I got away from it. After I died, I was running back to kill it and it was STILL blasting me with spells even tho it was on the other side of the map. Add this to the spell bug killing me and I'd have to say that this game doesn't deserve a very high score -.- Fix the major bugs before you release the game next time lol

I'll give it 5 stars just because of how well it looks, sounds and plays. The whole is greater than its sum. But it could have some improvements, including tougher difficulty.

Give us the option to turn off the automatic selling of equipment. Sometimes I'll lose an item that buffs one stat when I pick up one of the same type that buffs a different stat by one more point, often one that is already buffed.

There something weird for me. The screen doesn't scroll, I only see a fixed area of the dungeon and if i try to move around my character simply walks offscreen and I have no idea where I am going

I get that you want it to be true to its roots, but a lives system that just gives a game over? No difficulty settings?

when i got to floor 5 or 6 or somthing i started in this huge room with like 8 or more creatures in it(i didnt get to see the entire room becouse i died twice and...game over)they all took 40% if my health each attack and i think some of them had ranged attack. so, i start killing stuff, dieng once and using one of my four health pots. after spawning right next to them again i get backstabbed by this freakin air elemental and attacked by a spider that reduced my speed and jumped at me, and guess what? they freakin one round shot me! 2/5

if it weren't for all the spell bugs this would be a game on my top 5 list...hence the reason why i keep playing it..

there are a lot of bugs and this game is very hard... i just use the red potion...the other ones feel kind of useless. but still, i really like this game (:

no matters where you are, the monsters can still hit you with long range attacks even if you have teleported or blinked. that's no good.

Seems to be a good game but a lot of bugs !!! Impossibility to allocate a spell to a certain case, black screen at the beginning of the game. But good game ^^

One thing: Imagine I want only +speed items.
But, if appears a +3 attack, against a +2 speed, I'll lose the +2speed item.
It works to make my character as strong as possible, but if we can personalize the character in a certain stat, we can make it better for us, and consequently, more attractive.
What do you think of this suggestion?

Okay, I've confirmed it. Once you die, your stats get force-reset. So if you had 2 att and +4 att sword, you are now just 2 att WITH the sword. And if you remove the sword your att is -2.

I don't see the point in having an inventory if none of the items you get from chests are collectible. I had a battle axe, and picked up a longsword. I went to equip the longsword, but it was not in my inventory. While I respect the designer's style and talent, I think it would of been better for him to play through the game two or three times him/herself first to make sure it was truly complete.

So far, I was able to last the longest with the thief - and it's very easy too.
Also, does anyone know what is gold used for ?

Very nice :) I loved the 'rogue like games' growing up :) Just wish there were a save feature so you could wind your way down better. I know I know that wasn't in all crawler games, but nice feature. Bigger inventory would be nice too but otherwise nice graphics and just all around fun :)

the game is good and all but i dont like it choosing the equipment that IT thinks is best i would like to at least see what im picking up >.<

I used the wizard.
The second spell i found was rage. then i got a few other spells until my slotbar was full. i swapped rage with haste. Now it suddenly gave me 3 attack AND 3 speed like they both worked together.
After that i went down a level. now that same spell button gave me an infinite +3 attack! without having to recharge! It instantly replenished. I ended up with over 1000 attack. it stayed permanently.
First nice bug i encountered ;)

Good game 4/5... But i found there where a few problems:
my spells kept getting muddled up casting rage instead of heal ext...
my inventory kept filling with blank items which where unmoveable
and teleporting onto a chest picks up the chest...

What's the point of your inventory space if he automatically decides what armor to put on and the rest apparently is just discarded?

heliosdenton spiders slow you, if you are low on speed to begin with -3 speed may give that spider a lot of turns before its your turn again. so the first hit was not a hit maybe but a slow, then the 2nd "hit"would be quite a few hits. only used the mage myself sofar btw
