very good game, though the graphics could be better, and there could be more than 3 kinds of upgrades. also an ending screen, please!! 4/5

Maybe it's only me, but the store steals my money, i had over $20.000, bought a $9.000 upgrade and my money went down to zero. 1/5 for that bug.

strangely addicting game, although it's a bit too easy, and a tad on the short side, and as stated by everyone else, the ending is a bit unsatisfying :( though good game overall.
4/5

Not a *bad* game, but not very great. As noted already, Treasure Seas did it better, and that was several years ago. Far too simple, and no acknowledgment when you beat it.
3/5

@SakakiMaya : I'd like to see you create a submarine-based exploring game without it being 'a rip off' of another game. Just because someone liked the idea of another game doesn't mean they made a ripoff of it, fool.

Good, but what do I do once I have all the items on my checklist. IT doesn't do anything!!!!!!!!!!!! acheivements would be nice, 5/5 till you get to the ending

Easy game, unpolished graphics, but enjoyable. I agree with everyone else that it would be even more enjoyable if the game was more encouraging and "congratulatory." 4/5, has potential.

Okay, I've explored every square inch of the first 3 map pieces, and have retrieved everything. There is no 4th map piece. Now what?

in last map there is a bottle on the left side on the surface who knows how to get it? i maxed out my sub and still cant reach it...

There needs to be a way to "farm" gold. As it is, there is a fixed amount of gold in a level so it's conceivable that someone would upgrade the wrong things, run out of gold, and become unable to progress. Since the gold kinda needs to be spent on specific upgrades, why not just have you find the upgrades themselves? "You found: Super Propeller MkII!"

There's a bottle with a note in the VEEERY tip top left corner on the last level. Could that be an indication of a second game? :)

@sabertooth, if you are using the windows vista /windows seven platform, consider choosing a different browser instead of F***ING INTERNET EXPLORER. as internet explorer is known not to recognise the commands of "no more sticky keys" and goes all herp a derp at a flash game.

Needs something to do with the ship like a cut scene. Good game to make it longer should have more things to upgrade like health which decreases when you hit something and an upgrade to increase the size of the mini-map. Needs a you won the game thing. Also there should be things to collect that are worth money but are not counted and re spawn every time you redo a level.
In the end 4/5 if improvements are made could easily be a 5/5

It really should have a congratulations screen at the end. It just finishes and rounds off the game properly as well as giving us a sense of pride and telling us that we have finished it.
Also what is the point in finishing it when I have $213250 left with nothing to spend it on.

Fun little flick but has been done before better. Becomes increasingly boring after a while without some juicy action in between the upgrade boat/check everywhere for treasure sandwich. Would be more fun with walls you gotta maneuver around, possibly some fending off aggressive fish/sea monsters which would also include upgradeable weapons. Well you get the picture. Not awful though, gotta give it credit.

A little bit harder, a good ending and it's a 4.5/5
The idea is good same if there's a ton of game like this one but it's particulary amazing with the graph and the way we found thing. Maybe an hard mode where we can't look at the map could be good. BTW good game (GG)

I personaly felt that the game was leading you to do certin upgrades and if you did something else you were basicly screwed.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The upgrade system seems glitchy, it'll often buy two upgrades at once when I have the money, or just one but not display it until I go back to the main menu and then to the shop again.

Simple, and a nice time waster. Could use a bit more though, such as more upgrades, more items to collect, or even just a "Congratulations, you have won the game!" sign. 3/5.

I rate the game at 4.5, but since half-stars can't be given on Kong, I gave it 5. It's lacking - no screens marking game progression milestones (All upgrades complete!, You found the ship!, You found all the pearls!, etc.), lack of an in game achievement function, cool but not stellar graphics, etc. I can't wait to see what new stuff you've got planed for DD2! Oh, and on the realism front, I kept waiting for the State of Florida to come confiscate my hard-recovered treasure, but they never did.

i love going back to the old levels once ive upgraded my sub. it's like graduating and then going back to kindergarten!
nice game :)

I've never understood developers' fascination with "walls" that the map shows aren't there. Why not just... not put them there? Fun little game, though.
