I love the momentum in this game also, but going out of control holding escape for every jump is a quick way to lose.

all you need to know to get the hard badge is that you can control the height of your jump(and even slide up the side) by holding escape key, or do a weak jump by barely tapping the escape key. once you figure that out, the hard badge is one of the easier hard badges to get.

Just try holding down escape while jumping and try not to stop just to slide down... If you do that, every spike will be like C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!!!

1. Open the game, note the "ESC" key image on the wall at the very start.
2. Set the lazer off, but instead of ascending, drop back down into the starting area.
3. Look at where the ESC key image was..

LOL There IS a trollface if you go back down before the laser activates! Also there is a secret door that lets you start at 100m!!!! Like if u found it! (which i dought any of you will!)

EASTER EGG FOUND! If you cross the red line and quickly descend before the laser shoots out, a trollface will replace the escape key at the start area.

Forget any other escape based games for the moment, this is the perfect game to pick up, play for a couple of hours, put down and repeat the next day to throw down a new gauntlet.

My sister ended up getting the hard badge by just flying up by tapping escape over and over, going as fast as possible. I almost ragequit after that.

30 mins but finally passed 350 sitting pretty at 387, thank you for teaching me new ways to curse my computer... I just hope it forgives me.
