One of the worst RNG achievements here. The game itself is pretty decent but the laser moves WAY too fast so it turns it into a question of whether you get patterns that let you maintain enough speed to stay ahead of the laser. Really poor achievement on an otherwise decent game.

and then after escaping the guy went to the Olympic games and won gold in long jump, high jump and triple jump with barely any effort.

Just a warning: the hard badge took me 2 and a half hours to beat. Make sure that you are prepared to take on the challenge. Hold the esc button to jump higher to avoid the spikes.

Like the idea, but I feel like it has bad randomize of spike positions. Also the laser speed becomes faster if you out speed it so it feel a bit unfair. Need more balancing I suppose.

no power ups, no exp, no money no upgrade, simply luck and techniques. at least give me a hp bar that will recover over time so that there can be more than 1 mistakes made each game, keep restarting is not a good idea.

I doubt whoever made this actually played it much. You only need to play it a little to know that the jumping doesn't have enough options (you can't go straight across) and that the electric fields can come up in patterns that are impossible to ascend passed.

by the way, covering the walls fully with spikes would be enough to make sure the prisoner didnot escape, and no laser would be needed

For the hard badge, try and get up to 200 metres (note that while the laser is fast, even small leaps are fast), then from 200 - 300 metres focus on only performing small leaps (Just lightly tap the esc key as the laser will STILL fail to keep up unless you waste too much time), finally for the last bit, do small jumps but also fit in a high jump somewhere to avoid parts where there are massive hazard on both walls, then you are done.

Why even have the ability to jump faster when: 1) the laser is artificially moved up to always be right off screen no matter how fast you go and 2) you can go so fast that you jump into traps that are OFF SCREEN with no way to avoid them. Also, why do I sometimes get to 100m before a single trap when other times they're scattered so much starting at 30m that I feel like I'm playing on ultra hard difficulty? The randomness and jank of this is just lazy design with the only purpose seeming to be artificially increasing the difficulty in the most random and haphazard ways possible. Also, why is this classified as an "Escape" game? Whoever did that should be beaten.

Game is real difficult best so far 141. Must have been a difficult game to program, all that collision detection. 72 hours programming this is really impressive. I've taken several course on game design and in three months I couldn't make a game anywhere near as advance as this game.

In reply to Tishy19, this is actually kinda a good game mechanic. There's no advantage to going bonkers fast in the beginning, as it would make the game trivially easy later on if you could get a 10, 15 second lead on the laser or more.
In other news, my record is 319 meters and my finger hurts.

Is it just me, or does it seem like whatever lead you build up at the beginning just disappears? Like somehow it doesn't matter, because the game automatically bring the laser up to just under the edge of the screen?

Sooo.... what is he escaping? In the background it's just a gigantic tower that goes to nowhere. Is he just infiltrating so he can commit suicide off of the top of this thing?

First you will see esc and up. If you jumped to the laser and fell down before it activate. You will be traped, but you will see laughing face and up

Finally! :D After all that blood, sweat and tears... I finally got the hard badge and 395 points to go with it as well.
