I just realized that the laser will speed up so that you can't get too far ahead of it, and will then slow down to its normal rate of ascension once it has reached the max allowed distance from you. So, there is no point trying to go fast the first 100-300 m and then be careful for the last part thinking you've gained a huge lead. You are only allowed a set maximum amount ahead of the laser.

Why did people downvote the comment that says you can hold down the button to go higher? It wasn't exactly self explanatory that you could do that.

I finally got the badge! (the easy one, but it was hard) I just used the up key, it wasn't until I read the comments I realized we were supposed to use the escape key...

Not sure what the second "protip" is on about: the laser is always just below the bottom of the screen when you can't see it.

pretty easy hard badge, just here is a tip, use the spacebar and if you hold it, you jump further, tap it to jump not as high, you will get 350 with very few attempts, good luck!

I liked this game more as a mobile game but it was still a fun way to kill a few minutes. It's not hard to tell you made the game in a 72 hour period with how simple it is, but with no forseeable bugs I'm still impressed by it.

The longer you hold the key the higher you jump, and if you hit the key RIGHT as you land then you jump higher and faster, and even slide up the wall a little when you hit.

1/5 easy and monotonous. i dont know how 4 people can be behind a game so simple. all you do is hit the 'up' key. everything about this game is dumb. trash pixel graphics cause an eyesore. music is annoying after 30 seconds. gameplay blander than watching gray paint dry at .25 speed. definitely deserves 1/5 cant even find anything positive about this dumb game. there is no hope for this game. all the 4 developers should be sad they made this thing...

It may be obvious, but here's a tip for the 350m achievement: master how high/low you're going to jump, according to the pressure you put on the Esc key.
This was so handy during the lasts meters.

If you take your time instead of rushing through the game, you can get higher, but look out for the lazer going upwards...

Just to let everyone know is that the "space button" works just like the "esc button". Also here is a pro tip, if you let your character slide down the wall a bit you can go between spikes that are close. Furthermore, depending on how you use the jump button you can make your character jump higher or shorter.

Why can't he escape through the air vent? There's literally instructions drawn on the wall, pointing to the halted, spacious air vent.
