@Kongregate: Can someone remove the background picture for this game please? It provides unnecessary optimism and the idea that it is possible to escape.

Oh man this game again. Took me like 2 hours to get hard badge after destroying 3 keyboards and 2 monitors. Never Ending Rage!!!

If you try to trick the laser by going past it and then fall back, it stands rigth above you and the instructions turn into a trollface. ROFL much

"-The laser speeds up over time; climb quickly in the beginning to help ensure that you’re not overtaken in the more technical areas later." LIES! THE LASER *ALWAYS* ARRIVES JUST BELOW THE SCREEN!

hey i found somethin out! if you touch the laser light then drop down instead of going up ,you cant escape because the when you touched the laser light it triggered the red beam. now that ur trapped, the sign in the background that used to say esc and an up arrow now has a troll face! nice job!

Sabeleye is a ghost/dark type pokemon. Because it is a ghost type it is immune to hyper beam. This being said it should just phase through the beam. The only possible solution I have is that Trollface has identified the enemy ghost. Sylphscope is op...

-jumps and triggers beam but falls back into pit-......What the f*** do I do now!?...-looks back at sign-.....really? Trollface?!.....awesome!

Memo to everyone voting me down: notice that I do have the hard badge. My criticism is not some misdirected rage. I have played the game enough to know what I'm talking about. I'm sorry that people so dislike what I have to say.

When you start, if you jump to where the laser would be, but you don't jump past it, when you slide back down you see Trollface.

It would be nice if I could get a lead on the laser, rather than it being a consistent length behind me, no matter how fast I'm jumping.

Tips for hard badge: ==Height 0~150m== You can do the "image jump" to have a good start, but if you don't get what you want, just proceed casually and carefully. ==Height 150~300== Things start to get complicated in here. Don't be hasty. You will have to do short jump a lot. Don't be afraid to the laser, it usually can't catch up with you (Unless you jump too slowly). ==Height 300~destiny== This will require a lot of practices and your eye judgement. The laser will likely crush you if you keep doing as in "height 150~250". In here, sometimes you will be able to pass through two "deadly obstacles" with just A SINGLE HIGH JUMP. Miscalculation in here will make you pay a lot. Short jump or high jump, the decision is yours. --- Note that the difficulties of the height mentioned above is approximated, but the methods is still the same. I got the hard badge after playing around 1 hour. Hope this helps.

When playing a supposedly skill-based game, I ask myself if a computer player could perform better (since computers excel at pure skill games); if the answer is no, then the game is actually luck-based. After 10 minutes, I was as good as I was going to get, and then I was just waiting for the random number generator to give me 350 meters of favorable spike placement. Some spike placements ARE impassable, because even the slightest tap still makes you go up, and sometimes you CAN'T slide down. Such arrangements "could" be passed if hit with enough speed to do a high jump, but you won't know that until it's too late; if this version has "Improved visibility ahead of player", I'd hate to see the original version. Making the laser accelerate with time (rather than height) is a perverse mechanic that encourages a mad rush through the early meters. The game is very well developed for 72 hours, but is ultimately just frustrating. 2/5.

Tips: ==1== You can jump with buttons ESC, space bar, and up arrow. ==2== Holding jump buttons makes you jump higher. You can likely adjust your height per jump as you choose when to release the jump buttons. ==3== There is a hidden jump called "image jump" or "perfect jump". "image jump" allows you to jump higher than usual, and if you are able to do "image jump" continuously, you may go up around 15m high per jump. In some rare cases, you might reach over 200m high without paying any attention to those "deadly obstacles". >>> Here is how to do: Press and hold the jump buttons. When you are about to hit the wall, release the buttons but quickly press and hold the jump buttons again. Keep repeating this process until you want to stop. I have to warn you that this jump is the one that broke my fingers.

Use C and Up arrow, one hand for each wall, and you'll gain speed at every successive jump. You get to 150~200m in few seconds
