@Kranix- I suppose there is a distinction, but really that distinction is between earlier childhood and later childhood. You can call it a childhood game if you want, though.

@Ocsaleb You have a point, but I'm referring to it as such because I haven't really played Flash games for the past five years, and so, I feel there's a distinction between now and then.

so i decided to play this game again a little bit after 7 years, and in the very first game, the first 2 biters that showed up launched at me at the same time, missed, and formed a horror... nothing say "Welcome back!" better than death and suffering am i right??!!

Fact: I ought to be #1 on the HighScore-HardcoreBounty table. Last year I achieved a score of 12,722, which is nearly 600 points higher than Zhoom's score of 12,124.

@Kranix- I mean in terms of age. According to your profile, you are 16 years old. That is still a child. In most countries including Denmark, you are not an adult until you are 18 years old. This is one of my favourite games as well, but I don't call it a 'childhood favourite' because I too am still a child at 17.

@Ocsaleb
A childhood favourite can be a teenage or adult favourite as well. I can't see how I'm a child for liking a game I liked as a child.

The only one of my childhood favourites that still holds up to the amount of nostalgia I have for it. Still a definite 5/5. Actually, the only thing that stops it from being absolutely perfect is the consistent use of "it's" instead of "its" in the possessive.

This game is antithetical to the concept of moving your character. It would've been a masterpiece if it'd been done like Dojo of Death. Also unstoppable crowd control faster than your sword can swing isn't particularly enjoyable to face off against.

How to get a good score in the leaderboard: make a grinder go through a pool of acid, hit it a bunch of times and try to kill it with another random goople.Guaranteed to get a score of +200 if you do it right.

I think bosses should be added, like after killing an entire nest a huge mostly invincible blob with 1 or 2 weak spot(s) to add an extra challenge to nests

I would totally love some kind of sword-less mode, where you didn't have your sword and you would have to use the glooples's own abilities against them. Anyway, that's just an idea. Still loved it, 5/5.

the grinder is the strongest gloople, because a void eater's void beam of death wont destroy it and it can squish a horror with ease
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i dont know how to kill a horror, but i killed a void eater, basically when its charging up its void laser get close to it but keep a distance because it pulls you in, then while it pulls you get closer and slap him with your sword, he is dead also if a horror and void eater are present while your dead the void eater will keep trying to suck him in and then they collide and it just sparks and it happens over and over and over

Forget about batting sharp off screen and out of play. I like to wait for them to retract spikes and splat them out of play.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is it just me or is it way too easy to just splat a Meltie right on yourself? 'Cause it can't be just me having crap luck with the angle I'm attacking at...

about to finish the huge nest, game flanks me with inkies from almost all the sides and sends a grinder in the non-inky side, gg gloople teamwork
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There I was, about to finish my very first small nest, four glooples left, and a gigantic red thing with scyther blades comes at me. I die. Rate 5 stars.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
20 glooples left on big nest, 3 biters but all slowed, gets bumped by slowed biter and gets killed by a lunging biter that just spawned. Seems about right.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
That moment when there are just 10 glooples left, you swing your sword, you kill a Biter...
...and you notice that another Biter has appeared, but it's too late - he already jumped on you and began to devour your body.

I was in a huge hardcore mode nest, and i was impressed with the big one's teamwork, a void eater was using it's gravitational pull to trap me right in one Gray tendril.

Sometimes there are traitors in the nest, like the time i wassliding because of an inkie and i was heading directly into flamie acid, the a common goople bumped into me and saved me.
