It seems like this generation can't really appreciate the awesomeness of challenging games anymore... all they do is complain, say the game is bad just because it's hard... come on guys, not all things in life are easily given to you, you have to face challenges, otherwise you won't improve on anything. I've been through this game 4 times in total (107, 109, 102 and 110 awards respectivelly) while going for the impossible badge, and in 3 of them(the last 3) i didn't unlock a single reward! I played just with the guy and the sword, and still managed to get the Impossible badge! Come on guys, practice makes perfect! and if you can't stand even an easy challenge(which is the Medium badge) then jsut get out of here, you don't need to spread hate on a game you don't like because YOU suck!

I got hit by two Stickies and jostled by Glooples until a Meltie hit me. I know people have said this before, but their teamwork is amazing.

Wow, Ocsa, does the fact that it's few months less old than 8 years change anything for you? also, it has a decent fanbase and was given best of 2008 status by kong which pretty much gives me right to call it a classic flash game of kong. also, amorphous+ was slightly remastered version of amorphous which was released on newgrounds in may 2007 actually.

Wait, why is it important when the game was released? It's a good game which came out years ago and which I've replayed several times because it stays fun.

@Ocsaleb- Published Aug. 02, 2008 with 7,350,191 gameplays. I would consider 7 years, 7 months and 18 days to be pretty close to 8 years.

@GameTommy- It isn't a classic. It didn't come out close to 8 years ago or when Kongregate first started. It came out years after Kongregate started.

When that red one showed up after so long just out of nowhere and instantly killed me immediately from offscreen I was awestruck, literally all I was saying was "what? What?! What???? What???" Like for a whole minute lol

Some awards (clearing nests, lasting in endurance mode, etc) are easier to get if you go to options and set the spawn limit to 8.

To kucicinghitam9, I love games like Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and recently one called Salt and Sanctuary. Those are very tough, but not because of the controls, as they all handle exceptionally well - it's always the players fault in those games. With this game, attacking with the mouse was too unresponsive at times, so there was a needless amount of added frustration to it. I would really enjoy this game if clicking worked like it should for me.

While a lot of people seem to like this game, I felt the controls were horrid. I lost count of how many times my hero wouldn't attack when I clicked the mouse button, getting me killed or into a bad situation. The idea of the game is great, but the polish just isn't there to make it work.

It's sad to see people coming by and saying the game is bad, not worth playing for the BOTD etc. This was made 8 years ago at least, and it still is a solid flash game till date. Simple controls, minimalistic style, enemies are unique, you learn stuff, how the gloops interact and they evolve if you let them be. You learn how to use your enemies against them. Game is hard, you get good, it's simple. I thought with harder games coming back to the mainstream, like dark soul, these whiny peeps that can't play a game that don't hold their hand will decrease.

This game isn't supposed to be a cakewalk. It's you against deadly threats. It's a game that you slowly master to become a deft swordsman and it feels great. The controls are simple as pie so I don't know how people have trouble with that. You must learn how to dodge swiftly; most enemies attack in a straight line and can be sidestepped regardless of how slow our hero is. The sword probably weighs him down. If you REALLY need a burst of speed, there is a sprint ability too... This game has it all!

@titanninja05 - You mean Grays? If so: Lure it into starting to fire a tendril lance at you, then walk slightly to the side to dodge and swing just as it's beginning to shoot. If there's a splat of gray goo, you damaged it successfully. Repeat 3 times and it'll die.

@Ocsaleb: This game came out close to 8 years ago, which is about when Kongregate was created. This game is definitely a classic.

for anyone stuck on the hadge, you can get 4 entries from glooples alone by baiting them into colliding until they collide and fuse, then repeat the process until what come out is a purple gravity based abomination.

I really want a "lock mouse to screen" option so I stop clicking near the edge/black and losing the swing command that's about to save my life.

Can't get more than nine different guys to spawn even after 90 minutes of playing. I think ill just skip this badge, wasted too much time on it already

If there is a Hell, and if there are games in Hell, this will be one of them.....I really don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but this is the single most annoying game on Kong....I am going to play 'til I get the medium badge, but I am NOT having fun.

Back to this game for the first time in ages, and I'm getting further than ever - but, of all things, Clutters are giving me a hard time. Why'd it always have to be four of them? Not even grown babies; they just spawned in four of them!

Glad to see the badge bringing in some fresh faces. This game is a classic, and I'm glad a new audience is getting to see it.

What is the best way to get the 10 units in the bestiary? I've had nine for a few months, (been trying to get the Yearly badges), but can't seem to either last long enough or find the right beasties...

Look at all the haters. they dont understand how old this game is and how good it is for its time. they need to stop whining and suck it up. flash games from 2008 arent known for being graphically appealing or very diverse. Stop whining and play the game.

When I first saw the sword at the loading screen at the beginning, I thought this will be an anime-based game, because it remind me with Cloud's sword.

I think a paraplegic turtle with glue stuck under it would be faster than this stupid sword's movement ! It also has the stamina (endurance) of a death-star sized elephant trying to run Kessel run in slippers. A level one BLOB of goo (in any given mmorpg) can take more hits than your sword for crying out loud ! Find a way to have more toughness and more movement speed, seriously ! 0.5/5 stars for me !

Edit: It IS mutable, don't know why I put that it wasn't. The rest stands. Plus, from what I gathered, you can't pause.

Easily one of the worst games I've ever played. I guess I can't dis the "Badge of the Day" guys for wanting a little diversity, but this isn't a proper alternative. Useless sword, bum-rushing enemies, bad, un-mutable music, and the game just seems slopped together. Would rate 0 stars if possible.
