Yes, the "oomph" sound puts terror into my heart. If its combined with the sound of a Biter lunging at me, when I forgot to put my Reactive Armor on.

I've been playing this game on and off for a few years, can't say I'm all that good at it, but it's so good for so many reasons, I keep coming back. Even after a few years, there still aren't very many games on Kong that are, overall, as excellent as this one.

Never mind that "skill" thing I was talking about earlier. I got all the awards again for fun and have mastered the game but it turns out 90% of your deaths are from off-screen enemy lunge combos. I can see why that's very frustrating. Still one of my favorite games. Fusing enemies and giant swords are awesome.

Collision detection is not as precise as one would want. Honestly, though, the thing that gets me is all the misspelled "it's."

Finally got a void eater onto the screen; it charges the beam and I prepare to move in for the kill. A stickie instantly appears from the edge of the screen where I am and traps me in the path of the beam. Effing glooples.

see a blue biter and think ohhhh crap.... run out of way... "yes I dodged it now turn to swing" ..... green behind me bounces the blue back at me.... GOD DAMN IT!!!!

I have to admit, I really love this game. My only gripe, if you could consider it that, would be that the nests start off a little slower paced making it a little repetitive if you are constantly dying like I am :b. Otherwise perfect 9/10

First time i have ever seen the queen in nearly 4 years. And she lunged from off screen and killed me as i tried to remove 3 clutter babies from me. Sad face =(

Two fuzzles lunged towards me at the same time and killed me simultaneously. Then, I shit you not, a clone emerged from my body and I witnessed both bodies getting mauled by a fuzzle. The ground around me was painted with twice as much blood. It was a horrific sight.

v In hardcore mode only the glooples that you have unlocked will assault you. Try playing on a Huge Nest on normal mode several times to unlock the remaining entries you need.

Ah, Amorphous+. So many good memorie! All the time i spent to get the Impossible Badge! So many hours of fun with this game! All the challenge of the hardest awards! Such a perfect game, it'll always be one of my favorites! :D
