Oh, gosh. People, what lag you're speaking of? As a person who achieved 60-pointer years ago on an old and mediocre rig I can say it was perfectly playable back then. Tried it now and haven't experienced any lags either. Come on guys, the game is 8 years old! Nobody is going to try to fix the game this old for you. Just accept it as a classic flash game it is. It IS awesome still

The best way to fill the bestiary quickly (thus getting the Medium badge faster) is to go to the Fast Bounty Run, seeing as strong enemies do not take long to appear.

If this is going to receive a badge of the day, there should be another easy badge based on in-game awards. I'm up to 39 of those now, including "Completionist," and I'm guessing I'm just not going to earn the badge. This the first BotD that I've quit because I don't think I could ever earn it. I can appreciate the game-play and design. I like that each species I've encountered has either different shapes or different modes of movement, making it color-blind friendly. I truly enjoy the music; "City Lights at City Night" is a favorite. The biological and award descriptions I've seen are fantastic, and I would congratulate the developer on a fantastic job. (I've already sent the link on to friends who will love it.) Isn't the point of BotD to promote good games? If so, I feel as though the previous BotD accomplished that.

Great game. Controls are responsive, the fighting is fair, and none of the equipment is too OP. One thing though, the music doesn't suit this game.

Really hard to get the badge for der kongpanion. Will nerver play this game again after i get the badge. The idea ist good but the game play isn't nice

Delete this awful "game" dont deserve one place in Kongregate. 2 times BOTD 4 badges 2 quest. It is a plagiarism and bad designed. Best of 2008? I do not want to know the worst.

Brilliant game, remember playing this back in 2009 on another site. Wasted countless hours of my life, no regrets. Feels great to start over and get all the awards again every year.

This needs, NEEDS, the option for keyboard controls. WASD or arrow, it doesn't matter which, but being able to move out of the way AND swing at something would be a huge asset.

the swing and hit is hit and miss... either the mechanic needs more work, or I'm a lot worse than I think I should be.

Awful collision detection and boring repetition coupled wth short-lived rewards make this game a unworthy of badges. Sorry, but not even for double 'BOTD' points.

Oh no... something better happened - I had 100 glooples more to splat and I had all my armor worn (Hazard Suit and Reactive Armor, by the way, bonus points for nice look when both suits are combined)... and then Inkie hit me, next Meltie hit me and I died beacuse of the acid... this game learns that even when there're only 10 glooples left, we can lose (Razor Queen... or even normal Queen when players are unexperienced). This game is magic... How can I stand all these deaths? Why am I sitting here for 4 hours and still trying to beat it?
