the grinder is the strongest gloople, because a void eater's void beam of death wont destroy it and it can squish a horror with ease
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i dont know how to kill a horror, but i killed a void eater, basically when its charging up its void laser get close to it but keep a distance because it pulls you in, then while it pulls you get closer and slap him with your sword, he is dead also if a horror and void eater are present while your dead the void eater will keep trying to suck him in and then they collide and it just sparks and it happens over and over and over

Forget about batting sharp off screen and out of play. I like to wait for them to retract spikes and splat them out of play.

Is it just me or is it way too easy to just splat a Meltie right on yourself? 'Cause it can't be just me having crap luck with the angle I'm attacking at...

about to finish the huge nest, game flanks me with inkies from almost all the sides and sends a grinder in the non-inky side, gg gloople teamwork

There I was, about to finish my very first small nest, four glooples left, and a gigantic red thing with scyther blades comes at me. I die. Rate 5 stars.

20 glooples left on big nest, 3 biters but all slowed, gets bumped by slowed biter and gets killed by a lunging biter that just spawned. Seems about right.

That moment when there are just 10 glooples left, you swing your sword, you kill a Biter...
...and you notice that another Biter has appeared, but it's too late - he already jumped on you and began to devour your body.

I was in a huge hardcore mode nest, and i was impressed with the big one's teamwork, a void eater was using it's gravitational pull to trap me right in one Gray tendril.

Sometimes there are traitors in the nest, like the time i wassliding because of an inkie and i was heading directly into flamie acid, the a common goople bumped into me and saved me.

My achievements have all been reset in game. Kong is still providing the real info (62/110 Awards, Unlock first reward and Catalog 10 blobs.), but I don't have any of those awards and neither the rewards.

There's twenty glooples left. My hand's sweaty and I carefully move my index finger to wipe some of the sticky fluid. A biter rolls into the the screen (I'm close to the edge of the nest) and I hastily move the index to left click and swing my sword. I miss for just a few pixels and the biter disembowels me happily.
What a wonderful game.

Wouldn't reverse mitosis just be absorption? Mitosis duplicates the chromosomes and gives one set to each child cell. Logically, the reverse would take both sets, fuse them together, and destroy one set...
Actually, now that I think about it, the two sets could be combined in a similar manner to how a sperm and egg cell fuse. Huh... why aren't there any single-cell organisms with this ability? Or are there? I dunno...

Does anyone have a solution to the impossibility of killing a Queen with the Razor Glaive? It's 100x easier to kill her with the normal sword, and it is the epitome of bs.

Bonus Challenge for anyone interested. Try and clear a small nest without splatting any Green Glooples, it is harder than you would think.

To those people below, I thought the point of down-voting was to show your disagreement to said comment.
It's not really our fault if we don't like what you say.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why do all the annoying fanboys have to down-vote comments into oblivion when they go against their precious game? It's a bad game in my opinion and in many others, and I find it pathetic, and honestly scary for the future of this species that people try to censor a negative or unpopular opinion just because they disagree with it.

I'm done trying. The controls aren't responsive enough, the physics too capricious. I've seen my blade pass through blobs without any recognition. I've made hits that weren't registered for a half-second. A couple of times, I've been running from a large green and been arbitrarily slowed down by *nothing* in the field. In short, what I see is *not* what I get, which simply ruins any chance to enjoy learning the skills of the game.

To kill a void eater, you must A) Convince it to use particle beam, then get up close and splat it before you die. B) Splat it IMMEDIATELY after it's gravity well attack (hard, not recommended)

Pro tips: The razor glaive is a MONSTER. Many awards are easier to achieve once you have it. To kill a queen, create distance by threatening it with your sword, then swing during her lunge attack. It's better to swing too early and clang, then to swing too late and die. The razor queen is basically the same BUT A) You must sidestep her lunge and swing towards her back, so your sword doesn't hit her pincers. B) She can't be pushed back, and can corner you if you're not careful! C) She has many more attacks, but the in-game tips will tell you how to deal with them. The razor glaive can kill a razor queen in 2 hits, but due to your reduced speed it's extremely hard to land a hit without your armor blowing up. You can also distract the razor queen with a box gun for FREE HITS if you're really struggling.

The best strategy for a queen (IMO at least): turn your back on her and keep the distance, constantly turning slightly RIGHT. When she gets close enough, make a sharp turn RIGHT and hit at the same time. This way you can stop, turn and slash almost instantly. Why necessairly right? Because our hero is left handed (it makes a huge difference). It works for a bunch of other gloopes too.

Never mind that "skill" thing I was talking about earlier. I got all the awards again for fun and have mastered the game but it turns out 90% of your deaths are from off-screen enemy lunge combos. I can see why that's very frustrating. Still one of my favorite games. Fusing enemies and giant swords are awesome.

Zekrom809, the best way to "splatter" a void eater is to wear the Hazard suit and strike from the side diagonal when the void is preparing the line attack. If you just want to kill one, you could also use a bomb, but this will not count toward achievements.
