It's December 23rd 2020 and Adobe Flash is going to be discontinued at the end of this year, and in case I never get to play Amorphous+ again I just wanted to say thank you, for all the fun and memories.

It's quite astounding how much deadlier biters are than anything else. A lunging biter is faster than nearly any other gloople and kills instantly on contact. Unlike fuzzles, biters don't wait politely within slicing range before lunging, and they can lunge multiple times consecutively without pausing. It happens troublingly often that a biter which has missed me happens to bump into another gloople, comes away from the collision facing me, and instantly reacts by lunging and killing me. Unlike sharps and grinders, biters don't noisily announce their presence until the quarter-second before they kill you. Unlike melties, they can turn tight enough arcs to stay in bounds even if you move out of the way. If there were a variant of the reactive armor that could take two hits but only worked against biters, I'd swap for it in a heartbeat. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Also, for some reason now the game is insanely difficult. I have been playing it here a while now (only have pending to kill the razor Queen), but now there is no more ramp of difficulty anymore. I started a Big Nest and the first two gooples were a Sharp and a Bitter. It's very hard to complete even a Small Nest

I put on radioactive armor and a hazard suit. Later, I hit an inkie, which wore out my suit. Then, a fuzzle bit me, which got rid of the armor. Lastly, I gently went from the ink splash to an acid pool.
Conclusion: teamwork FTW.

Ah, there's nothing like seeing a Horror managing to form during Hardcore mode... especially when you get the absolute satisfaction of seeing it crushed within two seconds by a Grinder.

after downloading the source file of the game, you can pass it through the JPEXS Flash Decompiler, and you can get a look at all the sprites and code of the game (as accurate as the decompiler can be to the original code). additionally, if you're using windows and chrome, which i'll assume you are, you can look for the save file somewhere around: "C:\Users\(your username here)\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash\WritableRoot\#SharedObjects\". i don't know of a way to use this save file on an offline copy of the game, but digging around the coding of this game i've loved for years is fascinating

RE:tfizzy the other day i was looking up on the internet how to access swf files, and the source of the file is in the page itself, through inspect element and pressing CTRL+F to search 'swf' you can find the link to a page that will download the file automatically. im not sure if links are allowed in kongregate comments, but to save you the trouble it's:

Tried to get the finish-with-a-clutter award. Had it on me. For the finale, an amalgam! Splat, splat! Descendant amalgams killed and the counter said zero. Seems to be the end, right? Well, the main one didn't go away, but rather ate me! I'm actually not even mad.

Here's a tip: You can spawn some of the more advanced forms (Oozle, Gray, Void Eater, and Horror) in practice by simply starting with glooples and biters without having to actually encounter them in the wild, adding them to your bestiary so you can practice them without getting killed by them a dozen times in a nest before you figure it out :)

I have been playing this game for 9 years. I was 7 kills away from the impossible badge. Unfortunately, I think I've reached my limit. Perhaps it is fate.

Another game bug:when you defeat the razor queen for the first time(it's soo damn hard) you get the awards for killing she but also insta-get the another for killing two of them(yes,it exists).it actually helps a lot,because you don't need to defeat the razor queen again,but it's a bug anyway
