Why is there a badge for hurting an innocent bunny? They seem to hurt me so how are they innocent? But.. 5/5. I am having fuuuuun.

hmm... this bring nothing new to the genre but the retro art just spot on, the black and white feel also help immersion that it is a dream, and and the soundtrack is great.
Anyway, 4/5 from me XD

It's her freakin' dream. Stop fighting like a girl! Fight like Batman or Superman or even Wonderwoman. Heck throw a nuclear bomb behind ya and blow death to timbucktoo!

congratulations, great music, beautiful graphics, pure arcade gameplay, plus some zelda references (sfx, hearts etc). well done!

the only problem with these side scrollers is that once you finish them, everything you look at slowly drifts to the left.

I worry about the one oddball who's so good and lucky at this game he gets 999m on his first run and then finds it impossible to get the "Fighting Back" medal lol.

Great game, really smooth game play and it doesn't feel repetetive like other "Endless run" games. I really liked the goals in the game too, it gives you something to aim for each run.
due to the tutorial, only single-letter keys can be assigned as controls. Arrows probably wouldn't be good for a jump and attack scheme, though. Or so I thought...

it really looks You polished this little game up. It's not too hard or easy, the upgrades seems to be well balanced. The visual side seems to be elaborated, music is fitted well too. It was an hour of fun; what more to expect :) I'd like to see more of Your work.

um... i have every badge but sunshine, i'm literally just starting and letting things hit me to reach the shadow but it doesn't count as the end. don't see a reason to keep getting coins when i have everything.
hmm... these are standard Flixel 2.55 controls. Apparently Flixel has some issues with non-english keyboards/os languages, so that might be the problem. Also, try changing controls in the options menu, and see if that fixes it.

Tip: Don't upgrade health above 1st pont before acheving "Master of suspense" so it would be easy to get it. Just upgrade "Recover" to maximum than hit 2 first thing and dodge/kill everything until medal.

I was getting little bit frustrated because I couldn't get my last badge. I thought it said "jump over every kind animal" instead of "jump over every kind of animal".
And no, I don't think the fox ears are anywhere near important.

great game. its hard to make a good game with good music and that really atract players but you really made it *-* i thought what to comment but it was the best i could do with words :D and i would like to download the music and if its not asking too much if there is a sheet music of it. i really wanna know how to play it :p . and great end its hard to think the game dont want u to go far and far, its just wanna you wanna unlock things see the best the player could do with it :3 ty for the game
You're welcome! The game music is written by Tony McCoy, and the link is in the game description. Sorry, no sheet music for that. =(
...I wrote the menu music, though I'm sure you aren't talking about that. If you want sheet music for it, though, PM me.

Most annoying part was having to hoard 300 coins to see the ending when I'd already gotten every other achievement.
Checked the comments after I ran a really long ass time without being hit to see it wasn't distance or actually skill involved to win....

To everyone complaining that there is no end to the game:
-get every single medal (except the one for ending the nightmare, of course)
-die
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it should be made so it will turn more difficult over 1000 meters or something... After I get all the medal but the ending one, my next run was about 1400 meters thinking I should reach a "goal" for the ending... and it was terrible boring that last part, I mean the only reason why I ended being killed was because my eyes became fuzzy of all that time focusing on the window... =p.
Anyway, pretty good game overall for a short breaktime :)

yeah, the game does end when you get all the medals. and you have to buy the fox ears, despite whatever somebody else says, to get those two medals. can't I enjoyed it, though, for reasons someone has already pointed out. 3/5

Okay I finally beat the nightmare. It wasn't as difficult when it came down to it. It is not the matter of the distance you run, because you can't outrun the nightmare, but when you have all the acquirement you get out of the forest and win. The most difficult on is to run flawlessly for 2 minutes.

Perhaps to 'win' you have to complete every challenge except winning and have all upgrades? Gonna try and confirm that but I'm unsure if I can get inception (run 120 flawlessly).

So I found this weird glitch where you don't spawn when you start, but the game keeps on running. You only spawn when you press jump or attack. I'm not sure how to reproduce this glitch.

Really, really nice music. Did Tony McCoy make it specifically for this game, out of curiosity? Not that either way would make it any worse of course. :P
Love the artwork, and the gameplay is incredibly addictive. Not too grindy to get stuff, the medals are pleasantly challenging yet not frustrating... 'Tis simply a wonderful game! Especially if people don't play it for the sake of "winning" it. =p
Thanks so much, it really means a lot! Tony McCoy's music is cc-licensed and was not made for the game, but we spent about 20+ hours looking for it on soundcloud. It was so perfect, we had to use it!

Ok seriously, been playing for about 15 mins. If there is supposed to be a deeper level of meaning, i don't get it. After what i read it seems to get "stronger" you just have to die
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Fox ears are useless, do not buy (regardless of what the dev says). I did somehow beat the game by dieing, maybe by mashing the attack button while I died, dunno. I had all upgrades and my longest run was 600+, then on the next one I died fast and "won".

I am going to say now definitively that if there isn't an end, or if there is one it's not within any form of a realistic distance. I just ran for 1651 meters and got nothing. I spent 15 freakin' minutes straight just sitting here zoning out, running and jumping and running and jumping and hoping I wasn't wasting my time and yet still there was no end. To be honest I'm kind of wondering whether the developer isn't just trying to pull a fast one by making it sound like we can win and making a badge for winning when we can't. Again, even if there is an end, there's no way in hell I'm going to continue taking monotonous 15 minute+ chunks of time trying to reach it. There should really be a period of invulnerability after getting hit BTW. I guess there's a tiny one here, but it's really small.
Okay, we've passed "frustrated" and entered "angry". I'm going to be specific then. The end is not distance based, as this game has high scores. You see the ending when all challenges are complete and all medals won (except the obvious one). I have tested and beat the game at least twice on Kongregate - it is possible.

Ok, does this, like, actually end? There's a badge for finishing and yet I just ran away for almost a full 8 minutes before finally winding up dying and still nothing. I long ago got all the upgrades, and I'm getting a tad impatient with spending 5-8 minutes per run over and over again and seeing no sign of any sort of end, especially since, again, it's not like there are any more upgrades to get. Oh, and the fox ears are awfully useless for such an expensive upgrade. Heck, they don't even work on the grey fox things. Or are those supposed to be wolves? Either way, 200 gold is awfully steep when less than 1/3 of the enemies you encounter are affected.
yes, it does end. in order to win, you have to become "stronger". (not upgrades)
also, fox ears are probably the most important upgrade in the game, because they help with some of the more difficult challenges. trust me, you will need them.
anyway, thanks for the review, although I can tell you were getting frustrated. sorry!
