Game Seems to be all fixed.
If you want to save designs without publishing, then you need to copy and keep the link it gives you in order to reload. Only published designs will show in your list.

How does this game calculate efficiency? Apparently a vehicle that is built of an insane number of solar panels is much more efficient than one that uses nothing but gravity. Total propaganda! Shame on the developers for making a "physics" game based on "green" hype!

Tip: Make your car, from normal materials..and in ALL spare room in the crating box, put solar panels not connected to anything.. problem solved

For any new members joining, Kongregate messed with the profiles a while back, and as a result when saving your design and unticking "Make this design public" it will no longer appear in your profile, you now have to manually copy and keep the link it creates, but then it is still possible to save progress or private designs in this way, just make sure to keep your own records.

all the companies that want to advertise on the internet should just show a 1 second ad that says, Pepsi, Toyota, Etc., bought this ad, and your not gonna have to watch it. that would be an advertisement

Gimmicky... the original game was awesome, and this one would be fine if it wasn't for the blatant and sickening publicity and the poorly integrated solar panels. Problems with the solar panels: a) They make wood completely pointless, b) the efficiency doesn't really matter in the end, and c) even if it did, you can just dump a couple of solar panels, don't even need to be connected to the machine.

Here's the thing. Take out the prius ads and say you have to connect solar panels to the thing, and you actally have a DECENT GAME

I have a problem with the mouse wheel zoom feature. The game doesn't prevent the browser from taking input, so I scroll up and down the page when I want to change the zoom level. The buttons work fine, of course, but isn't convenience the whole point of hotkeys?

Above where you rate a design is a delete design button, I think a lot of people miss this. Thanks for the levels everyone.

Most can be done building tank treads. Use the solar cell to build the tread and you can get 100% efficiency of close to it.

Oi infinity this is good for many reasons; 1. level editor is free 2. its FC for christ sake Etc. . But come on thats your comp screwing the energy thing.

Nothing is preventing you from just building a big standalone mass of solar panels, thereby trivializing the 'efficiency' concept of the game. This game just adds an arbitrary requirement with an equally arbitrary solution to it. So functionally nothing is added to the original game.
