A suggestion for the third level getting prefect:
Dont build AA guns, 1 bomber cant kill anything, dont repair the turrent it bombs, as nothing else can kill them.

I think that an 'easy mode' would be a great addition for the game to make all the brainless zombie cry babies happy.... If they find any difficulty they start to whine and give the game bad rating... And developers have to adopt. It seems like the idiots define the world. They did this with music, movies etc and it seems like now it is coming for the games....

Not only do flying units do too much damage (unbalanced), the amount of cash received is not enough to build enough units. Too frustrating without enough money. Some changes could make it a lot better.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Level 8 can be completed by selling all towers rather than fighting the air units. You should have enough cash to finish off the last two waves once they pass overhead.

the only thing i dislike about this game so far is the low money income, having to sell ground towers to build anti air isnt my favourite strategy. im going to keep playing before i say anymore about it or give it a rating.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
a good game, but a bad balance: flying units do to much dmg to the towers / we get to less money from killing enemy... i stuck @lv8 - this "flying castle" bombs all my towers away and i can't do anything to save them... and yes, i spend some money in AA-tower, but against this huge sky-monster are this things useless, and in combo with this slow-tower... horrible... sry, but the first one was better balanced... ;)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah, level 8 is flawed pretty bad due to the fact that air units enter on the wrong side and are way to powerful. Even with a lot of AA, that second wave knocks out way too much of your defense to stop.

Gosh, I can't really say with this game. The Upgrade system is fun and one of the things I really loved about the first canyon defense. It is fun, the towers and maps are nice, but... I don't know. I'm not very good with tower defense games, and I think the AA is too weak. Especially since you only need it like one fifth of the time. Needless to say, my towers tend to get creamed by bombers. Overall a nice game, but if I am in for TD, I'll rather play the first. 3/5

Would be nice to be able to save/retry waves, or at least add a few checkpoints during mission. Difficulty comes not from proper planning, but from trail-and-error, one bad airstrike and there goes your half of your defences. I'm so tired of grinding through the begining waves knowing that split second timing on the last wave is what would give you that perfect victory.

I played the first game, and it was great! then when the sequel came out I was ecstatic!
but they never fixed the air/anti air units being a pain. great game, but because of that 4/5

Developer: listen to the comments. Regardless if you think the units are balanced correctly, almost all other players would suggest otherwise. Perhaps its time to tweak the anti aircraft weapons...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The aircraft ruin this other wise great game. Please reconsider the strength of your AA Towers, make the basic towers able to attack air, or reduce the strength of the air assaults.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah well your incite to say that "Flying enemies appear from the direction which is opposite to the base."I call BS on that...

I love it how everyone and their mother is stating the same thing I'm thinking and that's that the air units are too powerful and overwhelming. The part I "love" is the games' developer attempting to go about and refute each of these complaints with some lame defense. We all can't be wrong.

1st cayon defence was better. You earned more money from kills the A.A.s were powerful and cheap and once you unlocked a tower it was there for good you dont have to unlock it again. One more thing maps were better because you choosed which one you wanted and they had longer trails. 3/5 game sorry did not suprise me the first was a definite 600/5 though

Level 8 is not impossible. Level 15 is giving me a bit of trouble though. I beat the first 8 levels without much trouble, and I didn't build a single AA tower. I think some people are freaking out because they let some air units by. They don't harm your base, only your towers.

omg, i remember playing the first canyon defence on mini clip when i was six and thinking it was the only good game on there...

Good game, few well planned innovations just where one might have wanted to see them.
Requires slightly different approach then majority of TD games. Great work. 5/5

everyone complain bout AA
here the best hint : dont build AA , they useless anyway
focus on repairing or sell / rebuild
ive get through all levels , fun and balancing game
tho its true, AA should be stronger or just removed lol

Very well balanced with interesting new concepts for enemies. The wall tunnelers in particular, I have never seen before. The level of difficulty can be infuriating at times, but this is definitely a first class TD.

Update to my last comment; since "tasks" grant additional XP and that can vary depending on how you play a level, it'd still be nice to have a readout of how much of a level's "base" XP (i.e. what you earn by killing enemies and preserving gates and your base" you've managed to earn. Which if you've earned a "perfect" rating pretty much just means the enemies killed XP. You...you know what I mean. Basically I want some indication of whether it would be a good idea to replay a level that I've already won "perfectly" to squeeze in a couple more XP.

Other than that post, this game is fantastic! Defending against air units takes a bit of getting used to, but when you get it right the AA Guns maxed out in combination with the Stun Guns are reasonably good. Plus by that point you have other options to help against air units (try Irradiator, Missile Tower (level 2/3), even airstrike is pretty good at defending against air attacks!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'd like a readout of my XP on a given level compared to the maximum possible XP. Because you can get a "perfect" rating on a level but not get maximum XP if, say, some of the enemies escaped.

Why does my progress disappear every so often? I'm registered and signed in, but if I don't play the game for a little while and I come back to it, I'm back at level 1!

Love the concept, glad to see innovative TD ideas. I would like to be able to spend the mission experience. maybe better starting gold, or reduced task cost, increased fire rate, etc
but truly, well done guys!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It would be better if you could upgrade your guns so they could do more damage, or using the experience upgrade your weapons in the main screen. The AA guns suck at killing planes, the machine guns cant even kill a grenadier by itself. The damage is just way to low.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There is no possible way that the AA towers are balanced...even with them at level 2 and a bunch of them the air units mission 8 were just either too numerous or to powerful(I am going with the latter) Sure you could build a bunch of them but then the ground guys would just wreck face.

Your best bet for this game is to try and attain all challenges. Challenges unlock new tech. Also, each tech requires a certain amount of basic tech before they can be accessed. All of the higher tier tech follows this. eg. 7-8 AAguns is out performed by 4 AAguns II upgradeable when you create a wall builder. 7-8 AAguns = 1200 4 AAguns II = 600 + 150 (Wall Builder). Try to balance how many to build and what to build.

I pass level 8! Look how: Make some turrets to defend from ground units only, then some slow towers to slow down the ground. In this level make no anti air. It sucks. With 4-5 levels before air levels stop building, just gather money. Air levels will kill many of your tower. After the air levels, build lots of basic tower +4 slow towers here and there. Make no canons because they suck. Good luck!
