I very much enjoy the original game.I do also enjoy this game (I actually played this first, I think for some BotD), but I can't say this is a good game.Though the description describes this as an improved version of the original, I can see absolutely no difference between this and the first game.So this, to me, is just an exact copy the original, in which I have start from the beginning; the only difference I see is that it's a bit more difficult to level or achieve brilliant ranking, which just just means it'll take longer to do much of anything.

Excellent game, and lots of fun. As many others have commented, however, I completed the game before getting half of the upgrades. If new levels aren't really possible, then how about some challenges for each of the existing levels? Things like a maximum number of towers, an upgrade limit for each tower, no fear crypts, etc. I want a reason to keep on playing!

I actually kind of like the idea that you can't fully max out your upgrades - different people have different preferences so there isn't a generic arsenal. Also, when you go for the hard badge after beating the game regularly, you get most of them - I'm almost done.

I kind of wish we had the option to save our game to our hard-drive... Clearing your cache without thinking only made the game a bit longer. Still fun nonetheless 5/5.

The first one was great, this one is great too, but, it takes too much to get higher levels, it gets boring at a point. 4/5

If you have trouble with the last level you should try to build two Hellfire temples at the two entrances, one on the high ground and one right after it, one of them can kill ninjas in one hit but two of them will help you before its leveled up.
Just build some crypts to deal with everything that gets past them.
As always; save up to a couple of fireballs, you'll need full mana for the big ninja on wave 40.

Needs 30+ maps to compensate for the extremely high number of levels needed to max out skills. If somehow the level pack maps were to be combined with the opriginal into a single game then that would be good.

Actually possible to get brilliant on all the maps from the first try. I mean that you don't need to get extra XP, not that you won't have to restart, of course ;) You need to max various mana skills (max MP at 500 is a must), meteor (both damage and cost) and get adoration. The big boss ninja on last level can only be reliably killed with 5 meteors, so you'll need all the mana for that. Stockpile some gold and build temples right between waves 39 and 40, since otherwise you won't have mana at maximum after pesky ninjas in the previous wave.

Remember burning temples will scorch the ground and fry the ninjas while slowing them down. Together with a load of meteors and towers from the money from the tree you easily win.

The crypts are all like "Let's waste ALL the projectiles!"
I think that one of the things that needs to be badly updated in this game is the AI.

Good game, but the lack of a better way to obtain XP (seriously, grinding cleared levels makes it a very frustrating chore). I strongly support the suggestion of having and endless mode or that the achievements give a good amount of XP or, better yet, skill points.

You know, I actually like games where skills are 'soft capped' in the sense you /could/ get them all, but you shouldn't need to by the time you've beaten the game. I'd rather have points unspent then run in to a hard wall on my advancement.

what the hell! once towers lock on to an enemy they ignore everything else even the almost dead units carying gems or close to taking one?? wtf really

i agree mrpickle99, but here is one more thing that you should write in the comment, if they make one following game, they should add 10 towers levels, not 7 levels.sorry for my esglish, i'm brazilian
